  • I believe Alfred Bell is on kazoo and washboard, and Ed "Fats" Hudson is reportedly the banjoist. (Not sure if he was related to pianist "Black Bob" Hudson who recorded around the same time, but it's a good possibility). Of course, Jimmy Blythe is the pianist and leader on this side.   • Oh man, the drive they put on at the turnaround at 2:54 is nothing short of breathtaking! It seems to push the whole recording along 'till that nice ending!

    Ist diese Testpressung auf Schellack oder auf Vinyl?

  • @formiggini Die Testpressung ist auf Vinyl, daher auch das geringe Rauschen. Ich habe die Aufnahme komplett unbearbeitet übernommen. Demnächst noch mehr davon.
