  • Bald Kumar =)

  • Paul Paul

  • Do you guys know if and how you can activate the GPU on the i5 2500K on a Z68 motherboard?

  • Z68>P67 and H67 combined.

  • lol i came here for the bald dude xD

  • Is that Intel guy the Captain that died in the beginning of the Star Trek movie?

  • anyone know the dfference between a core i3 2120 and a core i7 2600 since their both running about 3.3 ghz?

  • i would be CRAZY to think this CPU would go into my HP SR2172NX..............

  • im going to buy an i7-2600k soon, and im wondering what chipset to buy, either p67 or z68, which should i get

Going to be running skyrim, bf3, diablo 3, gta 4, etc...

  • @MrSteveenn you will not need the integrated graphics if you will buy something like a gtx580-570 so go with the p67 if the price matter for you.

  • @yousefALyazedi i have a gtx 560 2gb right now, i think ive settled on getting the z68 though...

  • @MrSteveenn great, i have the asusp8z68-v pro/gen3 with my gtx580 sc

    and it's awesome

it's good to see people to go after the best a chipset that support the integrated graphics card may come in handy someday ;)

  • didnt know kumar was working for intel xD

  • Intel is great. The best out there. But....I would only run Intel if I had to run missile guidance systems or life support technology. Maybe if I had to run systems for a space. But AMD is cheaper, does the job, and holds the title of highest overclock ever for any silicon processor. I can afford Intel parts but I see no point in getting them for normal computing or overclocking. They do make way way way way way way cooler looking parts for Intel stuff. Same 4 ATI. Nvidia is the Intel of GPU's

  • Will my mobo work for this? its a GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

and i have the Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 ...

  • @sickofposerkids Same chipset, so yes.

  • for video editing, what would you guys reccomend me on processor and video card to get?

  • @iAmazedU 2600 or 2600k because they have 8 threads

  • @sebbeks should i buy a seperate gpu?

  • @iAmazedU probably, get something from the nvidia 500 series

  • @iAmazedU

Anyone of the possessors with hyper threading will do like the i7 2600K.

  • In the transcribe it says "crappy series" xD.

  • I've got a ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 motherboard with a Intel Z68 chipset inside. Can I use these P67 proccessors?

  • @xXGrandezaXx yes because its still a 1155 processor. z68 just has build in video p67 doesn't.

  • @Jmanx455 Exactly what I wanted to hear, thanks dude.

  • @xXGrandezaXx no problem

  • Integrated Graphics for the enthusiast gamer? ... The Intel spokesperson is good except that he gets some of his Intel facts wrong (ex. "other processors will have 45w TDP." actually 35w).

  • I wouldn't be surprised he graduated from prestige school such as UCLA..

  • Gee, wait, can you go over the names one more time...

  • They're both paul...

  • I did not know that Doctor Evil worked for Intel.

  • It looks like Paul wants to strangle the bald guy o_O

  • Comment removed

  • I am comment 666 XD

  • @GianneC GET OUT OF HERE DEVIL!!! XD

    grimblee

  • did anyone notice the CPU facedown on the table

    waste money much?

  • Intel Core i7 2600 3.8GHz, nVidia GeForce GTX570 with 1280MB Ram

    Dual Channel 8GB RAM, 1TB SATA 3 7200rpm HDD,

    All-in-one Intel H67 Chipset Motherboard

    Good Spec's?

  • Comment removed

  • @GroverWhatsUp Trade the 2600 for a 2600k, it can OC up to 4.8 and at 4.1 maxes BF3 at 30fps for 20 more dollars. Everything's really good.

Sorry, my mistake saying "It won't need to be changed". But that should hold up for a really good time.

  • What the F is this s*i*!?

intel is overpriced like hell, intel is more then 50% more expensive then curent AMD proccesors.

Yeah! intel beats AMD in many ways right now, but i would rather build my new computer whit AMD, because if you go whit intel you get so many unnesesary specs.

  • @duscha55 But Intel is 10X better than amd.

  • @HydroxideZz Why do you say that? You cant really say that!

    I have a 3 year old AMD Athlon X2 6000+ at 3.1Ghz

And i must say im still pleased whit the speed of the proccesor.

Why would i pay 10 times more money if i am still pleased whit AMD proccesors, even if they are not as good as Intel ones.

  • @duscha55 AMD isn't that bad but i would still recommend Intel if you're gaming or AMD is you plan on multi tasking.

  • @duscha55 Exaggerate much? You yourself just said intel was 50% more expensive not 10 times.

  • @JackTheRyder4 Dont mark on words!

I really dont know how much more expensive Intel cpu.s are (in all countrys)

Sure you get more "High end" stuff from intel, but Amd is the way to go if youre on a tight budget, And still, Amd is allmost, just allmost, as good as intel.

  • @duscha55 So you're saying buy Intel if you can afford it, buy AMD if you can't and need an ok cpu compared to Intel's?

  • @K33pItGHOST Somthing like that, yeah!

Amd's proccesor dosent feel like High performance anymore.

Ohhh god! it is so hard to choose between FX-6100 and intel2500 for my new build.

I got the money to buy the intel, but i am more a Amd guy.

  • hey does anyone know how big the stock fan is? i know its crap i wanna know how big it is so i can replace it effectively

  • yo guys my bad if i sound dumb i have no computer tech smarts at all other than RAM and Video cards..but im planning to buy Star wars the old republic...runmycomputer or w.e that site is said my computer failed the test soley on one part which is my CPU itself i think..anyways idk if its possible but i have a Windows vista 32 in which my processor is "Intel(R) Pentium (R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20 GHz" and a ATI Radeon HD 3800, comp friend said thats bad..what can i do to upgrade for swtor?

  • @MrWazzah

    Hmm depends on your budget.

You could go for the phenom x4 (forgot its price but is between (100/150)and a 150$ radeon 6850

And you would at least get a 500w PSU.

  • @Ryosuke1208 so that'd be enough to run SWTOR and its compatible to a Windows Vista?

  • @MrWazzah I think it would be more than enough to run any game (:

  • @MrWazzah Well i think at least that game you could run it like at max sets @ 1920x1080

The most demanding games you would run it on high or medium settings.

  • @MrWazzah the graphics of the game are a bit cartoony (my friend from school was a beta tester) you shouldn't need to upgrade but if possible get a new processor around 2.8 - 3.0 GHz (anything above 3.0 is enough for current gen games) if you can afford it. you may also want to consider a new graphics card im not sure how good the one you have is but it couldn't hurt right? how much RAM are you running with right now?

  • My name is Paul too

  • The intel core i5 2500k was on sale on black friday at a brick and mortar store in the u.s called Microcenter for $150. + 60 dollars of a z68 combo. Right now the processor is 179.99 which is a better deal than what you'd pay for with any AMD processor.

  • @cooki3saber I just got a free motherboard with a fx 8120

  • TWO PAULS MY BRAIN

  • @DefectedSaIvation Intell is slitghtly more expensive, But it is mush higher quality

  • both their heads look like an egg..

  • @don2xify AN egg? Do you mean both heads look like a single egg?

  • he looks like that male flight attendant in "bridesmaids"

  • @DefectedSaIvation

Yes you'll need a new motherboard, Intel and AMD motherboard sockets are very different and certainly not compatible with each other. Good brands for an Intel are: ASUS, Gigabyte, MSi, ASRock, and sometimes Biostar. Yes, as long as the new Intel motherboard has a PCI-express 16x slot to put the video card in it will work. All new motherboards have this, so no worries.

  • I find it funny how Intel's retail boxes have been getting smaller as their CPUs get fast :P

    My Core 2 Duo E7200 came in a box 6.5" x 6" x4"

    My Core 2 Quad Q8400, in a box 5.5" x 5" x 3"

    My Core i7 2600k box is only 4.5" x 4" x 3.25"

Just thought I'd make that funny note :P

  • still dont understand the advantage of getting a mb h67 than just saving money for a regular video card . Am i wrong? whats the differences ? I just wanna run hd files with 5.1 audio somebody helps

  • Hey intel i know of 0 people that ever use the on board video. This built on Graphics is a waste of space and money... now if I can use the core for seti or some thing that would be cool…

  • Worst interviewer ever, cmon newegg you really cant find someone else to do these interviews. Horrible

  • gift me one please (:

  • Okay guys this video sucks.

    1. k series cpu's are fully unlocked and overclockable

    2. these cpu's are very fast.(so fast a 4 core 2500k beats a amd fx 8 core highest end)

    3. Did i say they are very fastt? these things are wooow. You can decode a video while playing a game, with no hit in performance. Yeah i thinks thats big.

  • @Joshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh1 Wrong, FX 8 Core is currently king of multitasking and multithreading.

  • @Axiarus You are stupid my 2600k destroys that

  • @Joshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh1 Notice I said multitasking and multithreading. Not gaming. Benchmarks show the top of the line FX 8 core on top of everything. Know your stuff before you call someone stupid.

  • @Axiarus Now you are very stupid. look up benchmarks with rendering and real world test and tell me again if that cpu is faster. It only beasts a 2500k in a few benchmarks. but even in real world test like rendering and etc the 2600k is faster. And when ivy comes out, amd fx will just be a bargain brand once again.

  • @Axiarus

Either you haven't looked up the benchmarks or you just can't read and understand graphs and charts, the 2600k still wins... I can't even imagine what ivy bridge will do.

  • @Axiarus Errr no. This AMD bulldozer is like apple product, take the old architecture and then upgrade it by adding 8 core, called it revolutionary and sell as the same price as i5-2500k.

    Bulldozer:

    1. High power consumption.

    2. Inefficient power per price.

    3. Slower than phenom II in some case.

DEAL with it. I agreed with @Joshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh1 because my i7-2600k absolutely trashed FX bulldozer off.

  • @1256sonic Ummmm the fx competes with the 2500k the 2600k is $300 compared to 200 for the 8120 or 8150 ($240) and according to passmark the 8120 and 8150 Beat the 2500k which costs $230 so how is that inefficient power per price?

  • @Mehcide LOL no... AMD doesn't have ONE CPU that can compare with the 2500k

  • @BronzeApples Proof?

  • @Mehcide Look at a GPU Hierarchy chart.

  • @BronzeApples Sorry brah we're talking about cpus

  • @Mehcide LOL sorry CPU hierarchy chart

  • @1256sonic lol i'm happy with my i7 2600 (non k) i won't overclock anyways,, i always bought parts with overclocking in mind.. but i never did it actually xD yeah slight bits.. but then test, and turn it down again.. but eh.. i7 2600 destroys the amd 8 core cpu's in the applications i use and eh gaming :)

  • OMG PAUL LOOKS LIKE STEVE CARELL xD

  • is it me or does he look like kumar with no hair?

  • wow this is the shittiest video Iv seen in long time. This really doesnt make me want Intell. All I learned Is the fucken names are confusing, Lame and overpriced

  • The new egg guy knows more than the intel guy. Fucking shame!

    GO AMD

  • Will this help me run Battlefield 3?

  • @Dailybabble yes. you need the I7 and a GOOD graphics card.

  • GRRR I hate these new i5 and i7 processors! Sure they are awesome but this assured that I now have to buy a compatible mobo in order to compete. My Asus p5nd still feels new! I also gotta get a new CPU fan T_T

  • @varnlestoff doesnt the chip come with a fan? or if you buy a new mobo, doesnt that come with a fan?

  • His head looks like an egg. He's also probably just got the job. Newegg.

  • I have a £400 budget could anybody reccommend me a good computer build i can't seem to get parts cheap enough - thanks!

  • why cant the Intel guy be more like the Asus guy

  • @iHeartcardiology Because they had different parents. That, and all particles in our Universe are probability distributions.

  • @MikeRoePhonicsMusic OOH i better stay in door cause its raining COOL HARD facts up in here!

  • STOP LOOKING AT THE CAMERA

  • guy looks like he's wearing a bald cap from a cheezy comedy.

  • I got sad after watching this, since I just bought a 2500, not with a K, Is the difference really that big?

  • @M0vir K is for overclock. If you dont plan to overclock, there is hardly any difference.

  • @M0vir you're processor has 3.30 GHz.

The K can go as high as 5.0 and up on overclock.

    So yes, very big.

  • @1Adr1an6 I got my 2500 up to 4.3Ghz, good enough for me.

  • @M0vir what about 6.0 ?

    :)

  • Does this processor BX80623I52500K comes with stock cooler?

  • does this processor have hyper threading?

  • @theonecoolkid13 i7 and i3 only

  • @theonecoolkid13 yes its ht tech bud.my system is running intel i7-2600k sandy bridge.kickin ass especially some games requires a strong cpu to run smoothly.previous processor i got was intel core 2 quad 2.66ghz.gaintlet dark legacy on mame isnt running right with quad core.but with intel i7-2600k its improving.still not running smoothly.so yeah.upgrading is very well worth it.

  • @batrider2007 i mean Gauntlet Dark Legacy.

  • @batrider2007 thanks i'm looking to upgrade my cpu for bf3 ive already upgraded my psu to a 700w corsair psu and an ati radeon 6670 kicks ass. next thing on my list though is ram 4 gb to be exact any suggestions?

  • @theonecoolkid13 The 6670 is low end. BF3 is gonna need a lot more than that for higher settings.

  • @Droogie128 no on thebeta it runs just fine

  • @Droogie128 although i belive it may have been 6770

  • @theonecoolkid13 6770 is decent. Basically a rebadged 5770. Still mid grade. The beta didn't have max settings allowed. Unless you're at low resolution, it's not gonna be anywhere near maxed. Dice has said explicitly it's going to require SLI/Xfire to run on maximum settings. High requires a 560ti/gtx470/5870/6950. Something in that range. 6770 isn't a bad budget card, though.

  • @Droogie128 unfortunately because of my age i really can't afford better cards

  • there r 2 pauls in this video

  • this is the worst rep i've ever seen in my life, stuttering over his own words, and incredibly boring speaker. and has that stalker camera gaze.

  • 53 ppl have gaymd

  • Paul: this is paul, hi paul.

    Paul: thanks paul

  • 53 People have Socket 1366

  • 2x Paul :D

  • So What Is Better ? INTEL Core i7-2600K (Sandy) 4x 3,4 GHz or INTEL Core i7-960 4x 3,2 GHz

  • @starscream2092 Thats what I want to know lol. All I know so far, it depends on you. If your overclocking alot like to 4.5ghz+ get the sandybridge. If now, go with the 960.

  • @starscream2092 i7-2600K 3DMark Vantage Overall Performance (higher is better) Score: 16480 i7-960 3DMark Vantage Overall Performance Score: 15870 i7-2600K Passmark CPU Benchmark (higher is better) Score: 9,802 i7-960 Passmark CPU Benchmark Score: 6,674 i7-2600K also includes integrated graphics (Intel HD Graphics 3000) and has a significantly lower Thermal Design Power (95W as opposed to the i7-960's 130W). So for $30 more, the 2600K will perform better while using less power.
  • Wow, those benchmark scores had line-breaks between them. I forget that YouTube doesn't keep formatting sometimes. I'm sorry.

  • @starscream2092 The 2500k is better than both for gaming, and the 2600k for video encoding etc.

  • @TheHmmster no 2600k is still better than 2500k

  • @ilivemw2 Not for gaming.

  • @TheHmmster /thank you.

  • @ilivemw2 in reality, the 2600k is built and meant for high core needed tasks, such as intense and large video editing, graphic designing (photoshop etc etc) which is why it has the hyper threading (giving you the power of 8 cores for 4). The 2500k is built and meant for gaming, making it the better option in an overall sense.

  • I think that Intel should change these names, the number " 7 " is one of the biggest marketing ballyhoos I've ever seen... the letter " i " is another huge pompous ballyhoo...

  • Three things you can learn from this video

    1) K means unlocked

    2) Four-digit SKUs instead of 3

    3) We may not have to upgrade our cpu fan

That was a long 12 minutes...

  • The Motherboard (p67/h67) breakdown was a hell of a lot better

  • when Ivy bridge coming out?

  • 12:20 pedo smile

  • more than 75% of the video someone was touching a box

  • please help me choose the right cpu. i7 990x or i7 2600k. budget wont matter....

  • @polostarify if u are rich get 990x , it is better than 2600k

  • @polostarify If budget won't matter, then choose both.

  • ...sooo why wouldn't you want this if you are going for peak performance... What does a 1366 socket cpu have over this.

  • Both of them are egg heads

  • Oh, this is where MegaMind is hiding..

  • Sound quality sucked.

  • I turned it off. This was not informative or smart like I thought it was going to be, it was just a sales video.

  • when is 2011 coming out? that will ensure 1366 is dead... until then, 1366 does remain king.

  • I hate how he calls the 1155 socket mainstream, the 1366 is pretty much dead.

  • i love how paul says intel is confuseing...

  • they didnt even said a word about the integrated graphics

  • @zeromant80 did you even watch the video

  • I feel disappointed for some reason?

  • I like news about thermal solution!!!!!!!! hahah he had to interrupt just to say that compound can be used on new processors. hahahaha mega lol.

  • Let me touch upon that and this and that.

  • I love how their sales rep doesn't know that you're supposed to look at your interviewer and not the camera during an interview.

  • i sware i rang this intel guy up today at my work

  • What is the advantage of this over a AMD Phenom X6 for half the price. That all I wanted to know. All I learned was you can sync Mp4 players quicker, blue ray is 'a bit' better and that 'k' means unlocked. Thanks Newegg.

  • @Bar1no This would wop the shit out of the x6? except for the price, backdoors the intel on the price x performance as always. But if you want the highest performance you do the intel. (I've built systems with both, AMDs in some very fast budget office builds, not hating.)

  • @darknessofkrish Oh well I decided to go lower any ways. I got an Athlon x3 435 and unlocked the 4th core which changed it into a Phenom B35 X4. I am happy with this. I don't think I will need an i7 or X6 for a while. XD

  • @Bar1no AMD Suckssssssssssssss, but their graphic cards are better than Nvidia.

  • @paimansli Meh. Fits my purpose and my price. It actually works really well too so its all that i need.

  • @Bar1no AMD does not support hyperthreading, not to mention Intel processors are generally faster than AMD.

  • @parent5446 If not more than twice as fast.

  • @Bar1no

These are faster than the phenom X6 processors in most scenarios. They are better for gaming and encoding/transcoding.

  • @screaminjesus and the intel cpus are more efficient

  • @Bar1no huge performance increase in games, internal gpu, MUCH faster encoding/decoding, more threads, higher OC ability, 32nm design...

  • @Bar1no an i7 is made for Rendering and video editing, an i5 will do gaming but slower rendering

  • @Bar1no You're a moron. Go look up benchmarks.

  • @Bar1no An AMD Phenom X6 is nothing compared to an overclocked i5 2500k ;)
