Many people seem to have listened to news coverage before the trial and decided that the exciting accusations on a guy with very thick dark hair MUST be true and even before the trial that he is 'Guilty.' 2010 American Justice - Hype, Emotion, Fear, Entertainment!
wow. the media is so biased these day. like really they were protraying this man as doing such wrongdoings....my goodness he is not even able to bring any witnesses in to testify on his behalf. This is uncanny and down right unjustified. I mean guilty or not, he should have the right to a fair trial? Innocent till proven guilty. I do hope that justice prevails.
Rather the unfair and unconstitutional process in which politicians can undo the will of the people. Twice elected by the people, not the politicians.
Not allowed to call witnesses because of the other investigation.
Not allowed to air the "whole" context of the tapes.
Cant you see that is unfair to anyone in America.?
you're a fucking idiot...it's because of people like you we're in iraq and people like you will embrace the dumbfuck policies obama will impose which will completely strip you of your rights
When the people want a public official out, the public official has to simply leave. The governorship is not an entitlement.
There are no dictators in the USA. Enough of all this attention that this man is getting. He has nothing new to say and is making a fool out of his interviewers.
I'm from Illinos and there is nothing wrong here. Almost all of our politicians belong in prison. When the choices on the ballot are between a crook and a crook, you end up with a crook. None of us were surprised. We knew he was a douche. But please understand, our choices were between a douche and an even bigger douche.
The senators admit this is a 'political' thing. ( assassination).
The "political" process can get away with murder. They say Blago can call any witness BUT they dont tell you that he actually CANNOT call the witnesses he needs because of the concurrent criminal investigation based on "ALLEGATIONS"
"The media heads dont point or expand on this and other valid points" ( that smells like corrupt journalism)
I dont care about the guy, but this smells "wrong", in America.
I live in Illinois, and let me tell you he's been corrupt from the start. How he got in office I'll never know. He's been selling government positions and doing shady deals his whole time in office. Just from watching this interview you can tell he is guilty.
I dont have an opinion on this yet because I dont know enough information. I agree with the governor that he need to be given a fair stance. Most people have already formed an opinion (the media had a huge role in this) based on what the FBI says they have without actually analyzing the evidence. I am going to wait before coming to any conclusion.
I am still a firm believer of innocence until proven guilty. I have heard the snippets of audio, but I would like to hear everything and then judge everything for myself. I am still confused why they have not released teh audio yet.
Exactly... People who aren't from chicago don't realize how criminal our politicains are. I hope he squeels and takes a bunch of them with him. Daily should also have gone down along time ago.
People don't understand how crazy Chicago is. I've tried to explain to people that this was really was not a surprise to anyone in the state of Illinois. They look at me like I'm crazy! I've lived in both Illinois and Louisiana...I'm starting to think I'm only attracted to states that only have insanely crooked politicians.
