AHHHHHH!! I started to remember this talk i had to sit though......all day, right when he was talking about the pot he wanted but it's only on sale today. I really, REALLY DO NOT LIKE THIER CONVENTIONS OR LIES!! So i go to sleep :P My in-law is a JW....not my husband and he was raised in it. His mother has good intentions, but shes being led in the wrong direction blindly.. And there is no way she will EVER listen to me, I talk, she shuts me out... the Watchtower taught her well....;(

Lol. Ok so what is it that you hate so much. Jehovah, the concept of a superior being, how the watchtower is organised, elders. Have you researched other religions, if so have you found any that genuinely follow the correct teaching?

@allthingstrueandnew Sounds like you have a lot of questions. I used to be in your shoes. Dont worry I dont "Hate" anybody. I love witnesses and i want to help those who struggle with its teachings. I encourage you to research the history of the Watchtower and compare it to Biblical Christianity. Right now you are in the beginning stages of doubt. You have a choice my friend. You can continue to believe what is told, or you can keep digging. Red pill or blue pill.

I would rather they listen to it on youtube instead of actually waste their gas and god forbid actually donate to the WTBS when they get there. "Heil The Kingdom" is JWspeak for INDULGING Hitler-esque fleshly desire for total world domination (aka universal sovereignty). They're such self-loathing misanthropists. Their extremist all or nothing mentality of "self-indulgence" means taking NO note of spiritual things works against them. JWs are simply GREEDY for more than their natural share of life and power.

So this guy is telling me that the Governing Body Members, District Overseers, etc don't "indulge themselves" by flying First Class all over the world when they travel? Also, since when does obediance to YHWH and Jesus, equate to absolute obediance nearing complete servitude, under threat of ex-communication to the Governing Body IE, WatchTower Society? So much for having a personal relationship with God and Christ Jesus, huh?

The cure for self-indulgence? Having a good job based upon a solid foundation of education, so that you don't have to worry about financial matters - you'll have the money!! It's only poor suckers with no education, no career (just part-time crap jobs) and no life that are constantly jealous of others who DO have a good fulfulling life and don't have to worry about the rent, the POS car braking down, or clothes to buy at Goodwill. Someone better tell all those Elders who keep building bigger and bigger homes, keep taking vacations, and whose wives love to shop, that they are "self-indulgent". Better tell the Governing Body to stop buying more real estate, and that they don't need that brand new multi-million dollar Recreation Sports center up at Walkill either. Vacations...shopping...buying things we do not need...now take all that is said and reverse it to the speaker whom is representing the society...intentions revealed. Projection...yet I sense manipulation in regard to the society wanting to control spending...keep all in ministry and keep those donations coming in. Just a thought...
