Touching, indeed. Lovely! You don't have to be weak to starting crying by seeing this. It prevent everyone to forget that Jeremy Brett is more than the great Sherlock Holmes as who he, I guess, will mostly be remembred. Of course, this is a big honour, cause only a great actor is able to acting such a unique personne.

it is a strange thing to miss someone that i've never met, who died when i was still only a child. and yet i miss him dearly! this is a lovely tribute to someone who never really got the recognition he deserved in his own lifetime, an incredibly talented soul who continues to inspire and comfort those whose lives he touches even today. may he live forever in that 'shaft of light' he spoke of in his childhood. beautiful vid, thanks so much for posting!x

I'm feeling the same thing. It's weird to miss someone you never knew. And though, I don't only miss Jeremy Brett but also his irreplaceable Sherlock Holmes who has stolen my heart. But it is a torture to be in love with both of them. It' s more than what one calls "impossible" love. But there it is! And one can not talk about such feelings since people would call you mad, wouldn't they?

I'm gratefull to Jeremy that he shows me I can realy like, admire, adore and love someone.

@brokenpenguin33 I know exactly what you are feeling. I've watched the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes series for as long as I can remember but only recently decided to research him. I was distraught to learn he had died, especially as young as he had. I hope he is happily with his wife now. RIP

Ive collected Autographs for over 20 years and Jeremy Bretts Autograph has become very sort after (I have 4). Should anyone get hold of an original(Be wary, there are a LOT of forgeries about!) Hold on to it! Their value has risen dramatically over the last few years. Which goes to show his popularity as Holmes. A Great actor indeed!
