ok .. it's pretty good there, but it is cold. in winter we can have lots of power outages and lots of snow: P it's a pretty quiet town .. but many tourists
nice video. i must say you were very lucky with the weather that day. the fences on the mountain is to keep avalnches from falling down in the wintertime =)
Alot of snow?? In honningsvåg? when?? been there on the winter? and windows high up on walls?? that is not because of the snow. Its like the american woman on a sightseeing bus in london asking the guide" why did they build windsor castle so near the airport" Windsor castle is 1000 years old.....
the fencings at 1:34 is to keep the snow from comming down during winter ;)

We don't actually get a lot of snow int he wintertime! Check your facts.
And the rock cliff is a mountain. And the fences are from keeping the snow from falling down mainly.
We don't fish that much salmon actually. Mostly cod and other deep-water fish.
OMG Honningsvåg means bay of Honey. The name origined from the sami language and directly means steep cliff.
The little road is actually over three norwegian miles long.

Thanks so much for that information. I admit to being terrible about retaining facts. I just kind of pick up whatever the lecturer has told us. :)

Is Honningsvåg the northernmost town of the world?
Do you live in there? Would you mind to tell me a little about it?
josieldeassis 3 years ago
I think Longyearbyen is the northernmost, or at least one of the northernmost towns in the world..
