  • unless that truck was an absolute piece of crap, there was no point in destroying that truck.

  • He could have just parked it if it cost too much to use. Now that the price of diesel has dropped, he would be able to do more work.

For a protest to be effective it has to affect other people. A protest like this just makes a man look foolish.

  • You forgot Obama is going to be him a new one. This makes a whole lot of sense because now its going to cost tens times as much fuel to build a new truck. And we wonder wye the U.S. is falling behind. Just Stupid

  • What a dumb ass. I think parking it or running it on something besides diesel fuel would have been a better protest.

  • if he didn't want i would took it off his hands, wouldn't cost him a penny, i come and get. 2nd thought was it his truck?

  • wouldve been his works?

  • I bet he feels bad about demolishing his truck now due to the fact that gas prices have never been so low in many years. lol

  • dude, i would of sold the truck and used the money toward fuel for the other trucks. you just smashed a $7500 truck just cause you were pissed off. diesel is now $2.83 and now your probably crying cuz you smashed a good truck.

  • you can thank bush and his croonies for screwing us on oil prices and sending the innocent to die for it. Stop the wars, brings the forces back and take the country back.

  • this is silly, prices in britian are so mutch more! he could have sold the truck for more than he got for scrap.

  • Boo-freakin-hoo. What, is there a Constitutional Right that says we are NOT supposed to go through hard times? Gimme a break. Fuel prices too high? Do something else! Adapt or die! Don't worry. Just vote Obama, and he'll quickly put us out of our misery.

  • This is so sad, but who is he hurting? I must say his comments are so true.

  • Very well said..On behalf of all my brothers and sisters out here on the road!! Bruce, that was the most radical protest I have seen yet! Hope your business has been better since the destruction of your vehicle. Most of us only wish we could do that..Thanks again!!!

  • That was useless.

  • well thats stupid

  • Hello... It's not the Oil Companies causing the Primary problem.. It's the FEDERAL RESERVE and FIAT Monetary system! I'm not defending Oil Companies but they are not to blame 100% for the higher costs of fuel and living... The US Dollar lost 60% or so of it's value in the last 5 to 10 years. Since Oil is internationally measured in US Dollars.. that means that other countries with a stronger currency actually get better prices than ever with a weak US dollar.

  • That's exactly right..

and because our dollar has gone down in value, everything else is more expensive, too(like bread, milk, houses, etc.).

We need more protesting though... just peaceful protests. It might be smart to not have anything on your police record though. Our Government is also pushing Martial Law by changing the Posse Commitatus act... look it up.

  • ...very careful not to wreck the box

  • I would love to have an EV1 but they were all crushed by the auto makers!

Corporations run everything and people are not even paying attention.

They are in it for the money they do not care about us!

They even make big buck off the oil wars and prevent electric cars from being mass produced.

  • yea gas prices are up and my oil stocks too. yea yea I love America Incorporated! Where else can you take advantage of stupid cowardly people but in America.

  • we pay six pounds a gallon in england, you aint the only slaves in this world.

  • We can stop the price of gas from going up!

In fact, we can bring it way down!

The power to do this is with the people, but we don't use that power.

    RISE UP!!!!!!!!

The government is taking advantage of your "American" attitude.

    WAKE UP!

You are being used, and taken!

If you do not believe me, then continue to pay up, and lose!

    I am,

    George Vreeland Hill

  • EVERY ONE SHOULD GET A SCOOTER. My scooter gets 100 miles off one gallon of gas. I drive it to work every day and I own a SUV. SUV sits in the yard for trips and for buying larg items at the store. WOW, see I can even afford to shop now.

  • More protest coming-sign of the times dot spruz dotcom.

  • i heard that in sandi aribia can't spell they are paying .69 cents a gallon.

  • suidi arabia, yes they are paying even less then that, they're taking advantage of the gas they got, unlike the U.S

  • yea, that will show them. One less truck out of millions of vehicles on the road... that will really teach the oil companies a lesson. Whats worse is this guy is now out of work. I understand his cause, but this was just stupid.

  • But it's not going to do anything. Fuel prices a going to get higher anyway. The only way is alternative fuels.

  • totally still drivable.

    lol.

  • duh he is losing money with high cost of diesel fuel. now without his truck he is no longer losing money plus he's making a statement good for him!!

  • Shame it has come to this, but he got his 15 minutes of fame.

Wonder what he got for the scrap?

  • That should help his cause ?

  • That is so stupid! What does he have now? Fuel prices are still high and he is without his truck.. Duh!
