Thanks for the replies! Used to race 600's and proddie bikes on short circuits, never had the balls to race on the roads though, I do have a couple of mates that do/did and have nothing but respect for them!!!!
I'm not a bike fan or have any knowledge of how to ride them properly, but I have to offer praise were it is due, excellent riding. I am very handy in a car and have done 60 laps of what is the car equivalent of the TT circuit, the Nurburgring Nordschleife and it is beyond description !!! What do you think of JOEY DUNLOP ? Could you have kept with him on equal bikes ?
Just remember, as happened to Joey, even the greatest make mistakes, when I drive the Nordschleife it is timed laps, but I NEVER drive at 100% of my or the car's ability. I always employ a safety margin - BE CAREFUL.

Great bit of riding, I sailed back in this morning from the sacred land, managed to hit 150mph on a TL1000R over the mountain (scared myself Sh*tless).. Big respect!!!

nice one - i remember coming over the mountain in 97. I was going back to douglas after the ramsey sprint on a fx400r doing 110mph and guys like you were passing me like i was doing 30...lol, stay safe m8.

Thanks for the replies! Used to race 600's and proddie bikes on short circuits, never had the balls to race on the roads though, I do have a couple of mates that do/did and have nothing but respect for them!!!!

I'm not a bike fan or have any knowledge of how to ride them properly, but I have to offer praise were it is due, excellent riding. I am very handy in a car and have done 60 laps of what is the car equivalent of the TT circuit, the Nurburgring Nordschleife and it is beyond description !!! What do you think of JOEY DUNLOP ? Could you have kept with him on equal bikes ?

Just remember, as happened to Joey, even the greatest make mistakes, when I drive the Nordschleife it is timed laps, but I NEVER drive at 100% of my or the car's ability. I always employ a safety margin - BE CAREFUL.

nice one pal. went over there with aged parents in a shite citreon at sorta 60mph and was amazed how uneven the surface was ,it must be hellishly exciting at 170+ you should keep taking the tablets i think regards Adie
