We had our Lhasa Apso since 1997 - 2012 named Juliet, but yesterday we had her put down, because of tumors. They are lovely pets, and she loved eating nuggets from Mcdonalds, and the ice cream sundae. She's gone but not the memories of her! - From Jacob

@mattdm91 Yeah, I come home from working at Mcdonalds or College and it's silent. After 13 1/2 years being with my dog and then she isn't there makes you think it's a nightmare. Your dog sounded nice, but you can always get another dog in the future, we will get another one in one year.

AWESOME DOG I have a lhaso apso, poodle and gapenese chin mix dog. He's amazing and very smart. I'm doing agility with him right now. He is seven now, and knows how to sit, lie down, almost roll over, jump, go threw tunnels, weave, and teaching em play dead. He's so cute with his tiny legs. Lol when he jumps it looks like a rabbit. VERY FAST DOG

@tattoogoddess85 maybe it's one dog but just to call the whole breed stupid. I have two friend 2 dogs from the same nest (shitzu mix) only one is female the other male one all ready can pee outside the other one still doesn't know how to. Differences the one that learned it learned it because of teaching the dog the other one never really learned it because it didn't teach the dog and shitzu lays close with the laso apso so I think you just need to find a way search on internet or something.

I have had my Roxie for almost 2 years now!! She is the perfect dog!!! I socialized her early, so she LOVES everyone... kids, other dogs, all people. She loves to cuddle on the couch, but loves long walks too! this dog is great for everyone. The grooming isn't bad, we live in Hawaii and get her trimmed every 4 weeks and she is fine. I will ALWAYS own a Lhasa!!

I have a Lhasa apso terrier mix and he's so adorable! His name is xavier and he gives unconditional love to me and my family. He likes to take naps on my chest while I'm watching tv. He loves treats, walks, belly rubs, and taking naps. He is a bit shy with other people and he growls with new dogs but once he's gotten used to them, he gives them lots of love and attention. I have never heard him bark before. He is a very clam dog. He doesn't like to play with any toys. He just wants love.

my mom had one it was very cuddly but sometimes very agrsive and it use to bite our noses :p but it died cuz it ate rat poisen cuz in our house there use to be alot of rats in like 2 weeks later it died : ( we still have her ashes, her name was fluffy, my mom is thinking to get another one once we move out of our apartment cuz were not aloud to have dogs : (

Well the Lhasa Apso comes from Tibet, as well as the Shih Tzu. So some extinct or rare Asian dog.
