It would be more practical if the leaves could turn w/ the sun throughout the day, other then that, it would probably be more efficient if had siding or an awning that had solar cells. The wind will continually alter the angles of the leaves & there is wasted space between each leaf. These leaves could easily rip off in a storm too, but they look nicer then conventional solar panels. Cool idea if you want to maintain a better look of the sides of our building and make some electricity too :)
