Rhyme Aslylum are raw, quality. Life is amazing, his new album is on another level- just meant that you gotta listen closely, most ppl don't really appreciate proper lyricism where the rapper has acyual themes in tracks and something to say (and entertaining, well produced beats.)The RA raising the bar metaphor was supposed hint at that.
@joeybwoiii true that mate, raps all about the lyrics, shame too many ppl focus more on the beats than the rhymes!! Having said that most of life's tunes and phi life cyphers tunes have it all, sick beats from nappa an amazin lyrics/skills!!
@jimmyfro1 I hear that! For me some of the most constantly listenable and best hip hop has come from Taskforce and Jehst. Check out Taskforce the promise- seriously deep street poetry
