  • There was a musical theft for the Gladiator's composer, but he put it into a good scene at least. :-D Whatever all two films are brilliant, and I like both very much. ;-)

  • from 0:04 to 1:33 this part of the music is the same in the movie Gladiator, when Commodus meets with Maximus in the arena, and Maximus removes his helmet.

  • This music was actually written about 1876 by Richard Wagner. It's "Siegfried's Funeral March" from his Ring Cycle "Der Ring des Nibelungen. " There is a lot more music from Wagner in this terrific movie.

  • Trevor Jones wrote the "period" music heard the film, for the court dances and banquet scenes. Jones also wrote music for the main and end titles and the final scenes, but it was not used in the film.
