I've actually heard more racism on the side of African Americans in relation to this election. Many are voting for Obama simply because of his skin color. He had borrowed it from a prominent member of the Baptists, Roger Williams who had stated that the church must be protected from the government. There are numerous offensive remarks Wright has made. I fail to see how a church member could NOT know such racist statements were made. if my pastor said anything close to what WRight said, the word would get around and people would be leaving.

Ya know, I am white, and I found nothing offensive about the Rev. Wright speeches. The whole ordeal was a bunch of BS. Oh, SURPRISE, african-american's are still bitter that they had to endure slavery and segregation, and are still dealing with racism everyday. Don't act like they're crazy and radical. The fact that he was a POW and tortured and that as a result he suffers with PTSD, should absolutely DISQUALIFY him for the office of the president. We have huge issues to deal with and everyone should be ALARMED at the possiblility of a mentally ill chief executive would be making decisions on going to war with IRAN or any other country. It is unbelievable that anyone would even CONSIDER him fit for this office.
