  • Im going to this mans house for a zombie Apocalypse... :D

  • This gun is fun to shoot. I have shoot over 800 rounds with no issue. I recently tested the gun using steel case ammo ( tulammo) and the gun was flawless.Very accurate and easy to clean.

  • Esta chingona la pistola

  • lotta green and a lotta bugs for november

  • If you take any two pistols and compair their mechanical accuracy one will come out on top. The catch is that at any distance you can articulate to a jury of your peers that you had no other choice than to defend your life with a gun, does it really matter. Give me any modern properly functioning pistol and I can hit a chest size target at 21 feet. The PX4 isn't a bulls eye target pistol, however in a fight for your life it will put an attacker down.

  • I just acquired this gun, recently. Very fun to shoot. Better than the 92FS for me. Nice video. Thanks.

  • Experience using wolf?

  • Good to see someone using blaser reliably irish the PX4 as some Internet sources have complained about this. Anyone had experienc

  • Great Videos! I am thinking of a Storm as an upgrade to my .22 revolver, but I have a couple questions.

    1. Distance on pig targets shot in this video?

    2. I heard that sometimes the steel cased bullets misfeed or jam in the Storm. Have you had any problems with that at all?

    3. I am trying to decide between the 40 and 9mm.I hear the recoil on the 40 shouldn't be much more than the 9mm but what's your opinion on the recoil. I want my wife to be fine shooting it too. Thanks!!

  • This is a great gun. Just got it in 9mm about 3 months ago and I absolutely love it. In my opinion the D/A S/A trigger is perfect. Also, I've heard that steel cased ammo has problems feeding into the chamber, but it doesn't look like you have had any problems.

  • o and is the 40 cal better then the 9mm

  • I am really interested in getting one I have a Taurus PT111 Pro right now would you conceder it to be an upgrade and would you recommend it??

  • thumbs up! Love Beretta!

  • you could do a physics project on the flight of those bottles easily hahahaha

  • There absolutely no need to carry a D/A S/A gun with the safety on. Because the longer heavier double action first trigger pull is a safety in it self, that the beauty of D/A S/A gun its not going to be accidentally fired, The Glocks and other striker fired guns are great I have three. But the only safety on a Glock is a complete trigger guard because a trigger pull accidentally or inadvertent trigger hangup or even holstering it can inadvertently pull the trigger. D/A S/A is what right 4 me.

  • @Makingnewnameisdumb I guess I was trying to confirm my suspicions in a roundabout way. Let me explain. I believe that the sigs are considerably better guns than the px4 storm. My friend owns one and was never impressed with it. It looks funny, the sights are not great and does not seem to be as accurate as sigs, glocks, and hk's. And why would anyone need a rotating barrel on a soft shooting 9mm? Guns like the Xdm 9and FNP 9 have pillow soft recoils w/o rotating barrels. Forgive my rant, JMHO.

  • @FNPNick I believe you and you're friend have you're right to a personal opinion, but my opinion is that you and you're friend absolutely know nothing about pistols. Less accurate than a Sig, H&K, Glock FNP 9 my ass. You bench rest all those mentioned after properly sighting them in then come back with you're opinion. If anything the rotating lockup will be inherently more accurate not less. Likewise, watch Hickok's vid on accuracy. My PX4 Storm is a nail driver w/ a 6:00 hold.

  • @MrBigden37 For you to say that the Beretta PX4 storm is more accurate than sigs..you seem to be the one that knows nothing about pistols. There's no need for the personal attack. lol Btw, my friend loves his PX4, I just don't like it. It looks like a hair dryer. On a serious note, based on personal experience, I shoot my sig and fnp much more accurately than the Px4 and my groupings are MUCH tighter than my friend's groups with his Px4. IMO the trigger and sights are better on sigs.

  • @FNPNick The only way to determine if one pistol is more accurate is to take out human error and bench rest them. I can promise you whatever sig you own is no more accurate than my PX4. The positive rotating lock-up of barrel to slide assures perfect alignment of barrel and sights. The result is superior accuracy and quicker recovery for the next shot since the barrel remains on the same axis throughout the firing cycle, intrinsic accuracy is enhanced unlike the Browning-style cam.

  • @MrBigden37 I understand what you are saying...BUT in a real world scenario, no one is going to be firing from a bench rest. I can't with a clear conscience concede to you that your PX4 is more accurate than sigs benched. But for the sake of argument let's say that they are equal from a bench rest. If this is the case, the pistol with better sights and a better trigger will achieve tighter groups firing from a standing position. And in my opinion sigs have better triggers and sights.

  • Hickok45, you don't seem to be as accurate with this gun as with the others you have tested like the sigs, hk's, and glocks. You mention it may be because of the way you have to hold the sight picture on this beretta. Why is it that you shoot the sigs better with a similar type of hold? I know my sig needs a "combat" style hold where I have to cover up the target. I'm not a big fan of the px4 storm, but I was wondering why the discrepancy between this gun and the sigs when they hold similarly?

  • @FNPNick Different guns can really feel very different, even if they appear to be similar. The Storm is a pretty bulky, chubby, top-heavy gun for a compact pistol, so there might be some differences that make the recoil feel or behave differently or cause one to have to orient the gun a bit differently in the hand in order to shoot strait and not twist it around or anything.

  • Great videos as always hickok!

  • нормальный пистик такой

  • I hate the Beretta style safety/decocker. I wish they did it like the USP so you have the option of carrying it cocked and locked if you wanted to

  • cool slow mo bro

  • Hickok45, congratulations, you did very well going from DA to SA, hit the cowboy everytime. Perhaps not as fast as your Glock, but I have confidence you could master both. But, i'll be wise and stick with your advice to train and use one or the other type action for cc.

  • Another great video thanks!

  • Thanks hickok i was waiting for chapter 2 since you made the chapter 1 i love you and of course this gun!Keep up man!

  • Hickok45 - ever been tempted to review the FN five seven? I'm a rifle guy- going to get my pistol license soon and it looks like a great firearm. I get the feeling you'll slam it though !

  • just bought this in .40 and I seem to be shooting low and to the right...

is that because of trigger pull?

I'm gonna try a newer pistol grip style that I've seen some veterans use and see what happens

  • New to this whole gun thing. What is the difference between double action and single action?

  • Comment removed

  • I got that mag loader today. Ordered it after watching your video, that thing is amazing! I actually got the 22nd round in my 22 round factory glock mag! XD

  • Hmm..I bought one box of CCI Blazer(aluminum). I've never heard of it being bad ammo. Would probably piss off reloaders picking up cartridges but I don't care haha. I want to shoot my FN!

  • Loving the part B

  • No offense to Hickok or any one that allegedly has a problem with a D/A S/A safer to carry handgun. To get real? when you chamber a round, its single action. If you cock the hammer after decocking its single action. If you safely fire the first shot D/A at the bad guy,its single action. If you are target shooting all rounds will be single action after you rack the slide. I just don't get it? You would rather have a cocked chambered Glock? or safety cocked and locked 1911? Give me a safe D/A S/A

  • @tankerOwns1-In response to your comment about Hickok45 selling out,you ovbiously DO NOT know what your talking about and if you really feel that way, don't watch his videos and keep your comments to yourself!

  • I noticed that you've shot much better with the CZ 75 than with the Beretta. Does the CZ 75 feel better than the Beretta?

  • I wish berreta had gotten ahead of the curve and sent the model that has the same trigger pull each time, I believe its the c model.

  • Comment removed

  • berretta <3

  • Do you like the shortened barrel the gun offers?

  • I have a Beretta PX storm sub compact 9mm its a pretty great gun no problems.

I have 3 Glocks a 19,23,26, I am not about to chamber a always cocked gun. So in my searches for a safe D/A,S/A compact guns. I found 1 Beretta, 2 Bersa, 1 Walther,

1 S&W 638 and have them all, with Laser sights. No complaints about any of them. My EDC is a S&W BG 380, along with The Bersa 380, and the S&W 638 shrouded hammer snub 38. Beretta a quality gun. When someone makes a light pocket carry 40? I will buy it

  • how bout them cicadas ;P

  • If anyone hasn't seen the subcompact version of this gun look it up on google images...it is pretty crazy looking. I think it resembles a futuristic gun I saw in a sci-fi movie once...can't remember which one now.

  • Dear hickok45 can you do a review on the ruger p95?

  • i dont like this guns i like the great Glock Glock rulezz

  • @johnnyrhodes1

    fuckin fangirl

  • that was one of the best 2-litre bottle shots ever!

  • steel cased ammo?

  • Px4 40, sw mp 40, or glock 22? Which one is the best made, most reliable pistol?

  • @bhulstrom9 get a glock 23. Perfect size and the most reliable of the group. 23 can be carried concealed much easier than the 22.

  • I wish I had a place to shoot like you *sigh*

  • at 0:04 those are the kind of shots i hate because i hit it but it always grazes and it doesnt move...=P

  • For some reason Canadians really love this pistol. My Aunt bought this pistol for self defense. I found the gun fun to shoot even though I prefer rifles. And its starting to enter service in the Canadian law enforcement if I'm correct.

  • I noticed this handgun is not as accurate as the 92F, I've shot the 92F in combat it's not bad, but I love my Glock 23 best, wish I could of taken it to Iraq

  • Thanks for the AFS promo code! I got ammo + I saved S&H charges and a few bucks!

  • @hickok45 can you do a review of the Para-Ordnance/Para-Usa P-14.45? It's a big .45 has the standard 1911 barrel length, but with a double-stack magazine that holds 14 rounds. From what I've heard, they are okay until you break them in (300-400 rounds), and then they are amazing and outshine Springfields. But I have no personal experience.

  • hickok45 has been sold out to companys and website. now he only makes videos for money =-(. quite sad.

  • @tanker0wns1 i doubt that. he enjoys shooting guns, showing us and teaching us about them. its nice that he can get paid some and get ammo donations so he can do more videos. besides its not like he has a bunch of those shitty commercials before the videos

  • first time I saw this gun was in the movie Inception it was Leonardo DiCaprio's gun :)

  • Great video! I liked the close-ups of the pistol while H45 was reloading, and I always enjoy the slow-motion scenes at the end. I have the 92, and love it. I'll consider this one for my collection. You're right. The 92 is not a CCW. But, it is a fine shooter for plates and so forth. Thanks for your really informative and entertaining work.

  • Beretta would have been better served if they would have put adjustable sights on this gun. My PX4 storm in .45 shoots low to left. 2 other friends have shot the pistol and shot it the same way. I am considering trading it in for a Glock 21 or a S&W M&P which I own in other calibers. They are far superior pistols.

  • Hickok nice two for one at .27 Seconds.

  • i hear that same truck at 06:04 in so many of these videos.

  • Love this weapon smooth operation eh

  • Your Camera is very Good but Can You please upload videos of gun fire in slow motion?

  • sounded like you could make a musical

  • B R A V O !!!

SEEMS YOU ARE THE OWNER OF SOME SERBIAN DNA ! ;) lol

  • i really enjoyed this video and the talk of da/sa thankyou so much

  • Great video Hickok45, Thanks. I've considered the PX4 in .40 Nice pistols.

  • You did a px4 video on the same day as armietiro.... Is that a coincidence?

  • @lurch2150 I think it's so he's not showing the serial number if the gun? Not sure just guessing.

  • Damn that thing holds alot of ammo,

  • I Shot The PX4 a while ago... its a class act,. Not much bigger than a glock 27.

  • Another awesome video! What about reviewing the FN Five seveN? If you can get your hands on one. And the ammo is not too widespread either I guess!

  • Dontcha just loves those UPLULAs

  • Why aren't there any videos on the PX4 Storm Special Duty? It was the only gun in .45 to pass all of Socom's requirements.

  • Thanks Hickok... My local indoor range has banned use of blazer aluminum with a dozen cracked cases as examples. Cheapest I have gone is Winchester white box. Nothing cheaper.

  • @easydoz1 I bet if you got right down to it, the reason your range has banned Blaser Aluminum is so they don't have to sort it out of the valuable brass most people leave behind, and also to get people to buy the store's ammo.

Why would they care if there have been cracked cases? It's not their firearm to worry about.

  • @nominalvelocity I bet your right...

Pretty sure the chamber is designed to hold the pressure, not the casing...

  • @easydoz1, Any guns blown up or anything? I'd probably ban it, too, if I owned an indoor range. Empty brass left on the floor is like money lying around, unless it's aluminum, of course. :-)

  • @hickok45 I'd still keep the aluminum and melt them down.

  • @easydoz1 , Oops, I didn't see that nominalvelocity had already made a similar observation.

  • @hickok45 I wouldn't think about being a Hickok critic in a 100 years? To address some shooter biases about safe to carry, D/A S/A handguns? We have to get real? All such guns are single action when target shot.We all make choices, a not cocked D/A S/A gun is safer, than a always cocked, chambered Glock,or 1911 cocked and locked. No need 4 a safety on a D/A S/A carry gun.

    I never shot my S&W 19 D/A except in combat drill. I hate DAO guns,and SAO. My S&W 638 EDC has a shrouded hammer, 4 S/A.10-4

  • @surfside006 , To each is own. For me, the double-to-single action carry mode might be VERY safe for the bad guy because I don't shoot it as well from 1st to 2nd shot.:-)

  • @hickok45 Come on I don't believe that for a minute, no bad guy will survive your D/A to S/A trigger pulls.

I have seen you shot DAO turkeys like Kel Tec PF 9 magazine ejectors, finger pincher, you do fine, the DAO guns are tough to do well. When I go to the range,I deliberately shoot a shot or two D/A it can be controlled but will win no trophies. D/A is simply a safe not cocked mode. Instantly ready.

    I have a S&W BG 380 DAO,S&W 638, Bersa 380,Bersa 40,Beretta 9,Walther 22 D/A S/A 3 Glocks etc

  • The Beretta PX 4 series are great guns I have searched for D/A S/A bobbed hammer light guns all over the Internet. Unfortunately most are simply to heavy for EDC. There are plenty of quality manufactures but not small light guns D/A S/A. Kel Tec is light in 9 but kind of crappy and DAO,most maker have all jumped on the striker fired, always cocked in your pocket. I found a Bersa 380 D/A S/A 20 ounces best I can find. And My S&W BG 380 DAO 11 ounces. New Beretta Nano 9 17 ounces striker fired?

  • @hickok45 Couldn't you just cock the hammer as you're pulling it out of the holster?

  • @surfside006 that is a complete matter of opinion. I own a HK USP .45 which is DA/SA and a Glock. It all comes down to the operator. A gun is only as safe as the person carrying it. I ALWAYS know how many rounds I have, if my safety is on, hammer at rest or back, or if i have a round chambered. I don't feel any less safe carrying the Glock with a round chambered as I do with my USP saftey on hammer at rest. and I usually carry safety off.

  • @Hazmat0357 A matter of opinion. you are absolutely correct, That is my opinion. I had a Original 1911 45 acp

as one of my first guns, my opinion is I hated it. I also had 45 ACP in S&W revolver believe it or not? I had no opinion, but it had a six inch barrel.and I hate six inch barrels. I had single action, and now have no interest in single actions at all. DAO have triggers I dislike. I have 3 Glocks, not chambered, I love the D/A S/A hand guns I own, no need for safety,That is My Opinion

  • @easydoz1 I haven't had any bad experiences with the Blazer. I'm going to do a better job inspecting prior to shooting now that I've read stories such as what you posted. My only reason for shooting it is because it's so stinking cheap.

  • 0:42 ...and apparently quite a bit of sweating haha. Good video Hickok

  • the bugs in the back ground reminded me of my time in the jungles of central america - ran and hid under the cover of my bed and cried.

  • Sorry, I'm wrong, it's the Type C that is Constant Action and Type D that is Double Action Only. Types, F and G are DA/SA.

  • @nativenyerintexas Those letters used to confuse me too. :)

  • I've been watching these videos for awhile now and I'm still impressed that he's able to hit that far gong with a pistol.

  • CCI blazer is crap ammo... Aluminum brassed junk. I bet half of those cases are split.

  • @easydoz1, Nope; I've never had trouble with Blazer. I'll keep an eye on it, though, if you've had such a horrible experience with it. I don't necessarily look for it, but I sometimes choose it if it's priced right or available, regardless of caliber. I especially like their 10mm ammo.

  • @easydoz1 Blazer Brass is good though

  • @easydoz1 I used a lot of CCI Blazer aluminum cased ammo, in fact I ordered 1000 rounds and all of them fired flawlessly.

  • @easydoz1 I shot a box of CCI aluminum and didn't have a problem, but I will say one thing I didn't like about them was the tiny aluminum flakes I found while cleaning the gun. It shouldn't harm the gun in any way, but I didn't like that. Otherwise I think it's pretty decent ammo. I think HIckok is right about the indoor range. empty brass is money for them and having to sort aluminum from the brass would be an annoyance.

  • @Commiefornia

Hmm..I like the two indoor ranges I go to so maybe I'll just pick mine up and toss them in the recycle bin.

  • To AFS, thanks for supporting this channel. I have recommended your website specifically because of your support for Hickok's videos and I'll be buying some ammo from you myself too. Keep up the support and we'll do our part! Thanks.

  • @hickok45 I dont know how well u like Taurus pistols but as an option since u don't like double to single action I have a Taurus millennium pro pt111 9mm its single action trigger pull every shot but it's hammerless I love it and use it as my concealed carry

  • Enjoy the vids immensely Hickok, many thanks Sir. Any of the gun suppliers out there happen to have one of the few US imported an L85 A2/ H&K A2 or variant, that Hickok could try out? It would be a real treat. Would love to here his opinion on using one of these rifles!!

  • those insects are really noisy!! love it!!

  • What kind of speed loader is it you use?

  • love the music scales you play on the close up hanging targets :)

  • AGAIN......Like the CZ... You do not show the right side of the gun while on the table in the close-ups!

    W-H-Y !!!!!!!

  • This gun comes in a variant where you just have a decocker only without it being also an external safety.

  • thats weird my px4 hates steel cased ammo

  • Sweet piston, thank you Sir.

    Lord Bless.

    Pastor. John D. Sr.

  • Hey Hickok, long time viewer. . .1st time commenter :-) I'd love to see a video on some more pistol caliber carbines. I know you just did the Uzi, got any more toys like it?

  • thats awesome ,nice job

  • I just got back from the range with my father in law shooting the px4 storm, I have the 9mm version, Awesome freaking gun, would recommend it!!!

  • do a video about five seven? :D

    cool video hick :D

    life is good.

    haha

  • Whats great about shooting 2 liters is you get a different result everytime! That pink one looked like it wanted to fly up to the moon at 9:50!! Great video once again!

  • Beretta's pistols are great, however, if you ever do have a problem and you need to send it in for warranty repair, don't hold your breath, their customer service is just about the worst I've seen in any industry. Looks like the Storm is shooting low on you, I've heard this can be a problem with them. +1 on the Uplula, don't know what I'd do with out it.

  • The PX4 storm is a sweet shooter.

    Glock n Load,

    Mike

  • I have an Uplula...that thing is godsend...

  • LMAO at :25 seconds that bullet went through the red 2 Liter and knocked down that Pig !

  • @hickok45 when will you do a video on the glock 37 .45 gap?

  • wow it must be hot there to sweat like that a few weeks ago..must be a different part of the south then im in..nice pistol

  • Hickok45 what kinda mag loader is that ?

  • Hickok4545 11-11-11 That's cause he's #1

  • I didn't like my PX4 Storm .40 for one reason. Due to the rotating barrel, I could feel pin pricks of gun powder to the shooting arm and face. (It wasn't oil)

  • Hope Hickok45 finds out about the new Walther PPQ. Striker fired smooth crisp trigger with a 1/10th '' reset. It's got an unbelievably comfortable grip like the H&K P30.

  • Shootin' guns on 11/11/11... what better way to train for the apocalypse?

  • Love to find one of those loaders. Looks alot better than the one that comes with the Glock for loading 40 rounds.

  • Hey Hickok! Can you possibly get your hands on the Beretta TX4 Storm 12 Ga. Shotgun? It's a little (18" Barrel) Semi-Auto that (from what I've heard) weighs under 6.5 pounds. I've heard many good things about it: it even has a (decorative) breaching muzzle brake.

  • my local PD just recently switched from G22 to PX4 Storm. I'm not sure why. everyone loves to hate on Glock, but IMO it's a much better duty gun due to simplicity.. that rotating barrel on the PX4 just screams malfunction to me, but they seem to be pretty reliable from what I've seen so I don't know.

  • Am I the only one that noticed that hickok is wearing the same thing in chapter 2 as he was in the first go around?

  • been waiting on this one

  • i wish we could have firearms in england but we cont piss me off

  • Hi Hickok, I know you love Glocks. Will you do a review on a Walther PPQ. I hear that the ppq has a nice trigger. It looks a lot like a H & k.

  • @michaelrocks27 look up nutnfancy on youtube. He has recently put a review up on the Walther PPQ.

  • @DevonS51 Thats why people keep asking about it...It will be the same pistol if Hickok45 shoots it people...

I'd rather see something new myself...

  • @michaelrocks27 i dont know if you watch nutnfancy's youtube channel but he just did a review of the PPQ if your looking for some info on it.

  • i wish you had a hi-speed camera for some of those bottle spins

  • great video as usual

  • FYI on the PX4 you can get a low profile slide lock lever and they do have an adjustable rear sight for about $59.

  • @TheYomomma619 Well, the best thing to do when things get boring is to leave. Don't let the door hit you in the bottom!

  • I picked up a Springfield XDM recently, it also came with the mag loader. I have to come to like it as well.

  • hey hickok u get alot of dumb questions i thought id ask one just for the lol's how many steps do u take in a year.

  • man your neighbors most LOVE you!

  • ★★★★★

BEST CHANNEL ON YOU TUBE !!!!!

  • Hey Hickok how many rounds a year do you shoot? Total all calibers.

  • Love the slow mo at the end of the video very sweet!!!

  • uplula loader best item I ever bought, a real thumb saver

  • Couldn't you just cock the hammer while your pulling it out of the holster if you don't double to single action?

  • That look hella fun...

  • 0:25 did you realize by shooting the red soda you also bagged and tagged you an animal

  • @stormtroopera52 Good eye, I didn't even notice that!

  • @stormtroopera52 lol i just noticed that

  • @stormtroopera52 Good eye!

  • @stormtroopera52 holy shit, thats awesome man

  • @stormtroopera52 Good eye!! Missed it myself, had to go back and see what you meant.

  • Nice!

  • correction ******* I dont know why ************

  • I dont why I do this to myself.....Everytime I watch one of your vids I die wishing I could only shoot at a compand like yours!!!!! Nice Work......

  • Damm your a good shot

  • Shoot one of these and I love it. Nice trigger, easy controls, adjustable back straps, low recoil, and hell of a lot lighter than the 92.

  • I'm interested in this gun, particularly in the new stainless version that came out recently, but don't like the sight over target (12 o'clock hold?) that Hickok was describing here. Installing an adjustable rear sight would be a must for me. Eh, when it comes to Berettas, I think I'll just stick with my 92FS, at least for now...
