Nit! Started off with re-enactment just because I'm a huge fking historical nerd and this is a chance to "be in it" haha. Yea knows its sounds nerdish but its one hell of a way to socialize and having fun while you shooting.

i got an SS uniform (black one ) 2 whermacht uniforms, german tanker uniform, US airborne,and a russian one. took along time to find all those, and it was qite expensive, but i like collecting expensive things :)

Just bought myself a SS-helmet with winter camo and love to collect ww2 items. But I buy more for my gear that I use then collect them. So don't have a lot of items but some.

yeah the most of the ww2 stuff i got are medals, and a few rifles and mp's, i even got some SS pins and stuff, got the iron class in all three classes, the german mothers cross, and alot more, i got the 98k rifle, an mp40, a luger, an stg 44 (witch was incredibley expensvie and hard to find) and a tommy gun (thompson ), im still trying to find an MG42,but that thing is kinda hard to find, good thing my parents left me a shitloud of money.

Hehe, i agree with you, since it is late war and in Italy, but in the early times of the war they washed their uniforms from time to time.Some dirt couldn't be removed but much did. Some are overreacting when they are going to get them aged, and are ending up looking like the uniforms never have seen peace.

In reenactment you should look like those who fought THEN, not how THEY would look like now. ;)
