Ohhh, I definetly prefer the original, it was more of a setpiece rather than a cartoony boss battle.
In Tomb Raider 1 if you weren't agile the TREX would clean you up in a single move and likewise blowing big holes in it, for a minute would end things as you'd expect.
The original encounter was far better, no cutscene, just a seamless addition to a level that otherwise I cant even remember. Probably one of the most memorable moments in video gaming after all! :D
You'd think a massive creature that could take that many hits in the face with a pistol would just walk up to her and say 'No', step on her then bite her face off. The Tomb Raider 2 T-rex was the best. I was like 3 when I played that and it scared the living crap outa' me. I'm always a bag of nerves playing any computer games now. Thanks Tomb Raider!
just stop shooting when it goes slomo or it will go out of slomo. Start shootin, then he goes rage mode,runs at ya, when hes reasonably close to you press shift+direction (all this withouyt shooting) and when the red thingy locks on you shoot. Thats how you do real damage.Especially if youre infront of the spikes when you do it as youve seen in the vid it totally fucks him up.
you have to collect 3 cog wheels, the last one is in that building the t-rex destroys in the end. then you have to put them into that construction at the right of the waterfall

how do you get the right timing? i've defeated it but i didn't get the right timing. do you have to jump when he near or when the slow motion starts?
