  • The "Inevitable"? I thought you were talking about going along and one of the civilians opens his or her car door and CRUNCH! Had me scared there for a while!

  • Wow, I want a bike now, that looked like it saved so much time.

  • motherfucker, I bet you get to work in like 20 mins while the rest of us suckers take like over an hour!! LOL

  • This my friends, is why i love my bike :D

  • Fuck traffic

  • That was one of the most boring video's I have seen yet...

  • the inevitable is not sitting in traffic, its crashing into someone changing lanes without looking

  • You know just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Not doing it just may keep you from being hurt, and or someone else. Not to forget it's breaking the law. Not cool at all.

  • @ylism

Lane splitting is legal in some places. And who cares hes on a BIKE...he wont be hurting anyone in a 2 ton car.

  • @FrostbitexP Who cares, That's the attitude of those who care little of others & there property. BTW people do get hurt by motorcycles, Other then the rider's. You say some states, What 2 maybe ?? Even there in CA you still can be charged in a wreck. Live smart or die younger.

  • @FrostbitexP Your reply of " who cares hes on a BIKE" says it all. You would care if it was you.

  • @ylism

Of course i would care a bit. But if a bike crashes into me from behind from lane splitting its not like id die...so who cares really, if he wants to endanger him self fine.

For me all it would mean for me is a bad day.

  • @ylism

You serious? Lane splitting is legal in New Jersey.... and who is he going to hurt other than himself? Its a do at your own risk type thing.

  • I feel like I am saving time by watching this video:) lol

  • When I'm driving in my car, this scares the hell out of me. Motorcycles in general do, I think lane splitting is insane, and under no circumstances should it be legal.

  • @D13fledermause Filtering is a biker's privilege. How this can scare you when you're cosseted in the cocoon of your 2 ton cage amazes me. Please stay off the road, frightened drivers cause more accidents through their reticence and timidness. Speed kills. Fear kills everything.

  • @carlosthejackal I actually ride a motorcycle, but I know what is smart and what isn't. It might be a privelidge, but it's your life not mine.

  • @D13fledermause Hold on, we're talking about filtering slowly through traffic that's stood still, not 180mph Ghostrider style insanity. You'd seriously rather sit on a bike in traffic rather than filter slowly through it? How strange...

  • @carlosthejackal Yeah, because I value my life more than the time I'd save by going through traffic, but that's just me. I only go out on my bike for enjoyment anyway, so I don't have to worry about getting somewhere any time soon.

  • @D13fledermause I tend to agree, unlike others who have commented here. I'm pro-lane filtering, but iffy about lane splitting. I've been on my motorcycle and had another motorcycle lane split past me and it has scared the crap out of me enough for me to nearly lose control.

  • @Damian2257 well thats not the riders fault, you should always now whats happening around by checking your mirrors atleast every 5-7 sec

  • @marhanen Disagree. I do check my mirrors every 5-7 seconds and am always aware of my surroundings. This is specifically why it scared the crap out of me because he was travelling faster than I could perceive in my mirror. I would consider that reckless of the rider and not on my part at all. As motorcyclists we need to take responsibility for being invisible, remember that in the end it's our lives on the line.

  • @Damian2257 i dont think hes going fast enough! they stlll have cars passing him. I like to keep a faster pace then the tracfic because you always have more focus forward then behind. when your constantly passing and not getting passed i think its safer in my opinion

  • @Damian2257 at least someone thinks the way i do, i dont ride a bike, so im the guy they split fast and everytime i see i wonder in my head if they will clip something and fall and go under my tire, its not just their lives they are messing with, if a biker dies doing this because someone ran him over because he fell that person will feel guilt for the rest of their life.

  • @cornfed123567 Thanks mate, again I'm pro filtering (stationary traffic) but not really for splitting when the traffic is still moving. I never filter more than running speed, but sometimes I see bikes going 50-60km/h between stationary cars... and I think that is very dangerous. Both are still illegal where I live and I get a bit annoyed when I see bikes doing it unsafely because if we can't show we can do it safely they aren't going to legalise it for us...

  • This lane splitting as you called it, took place in Moscow (Russia) all the time. It is the only way you can drive through one big permanent traffic jam called Moscow city. I've noticed that you have pretty calm car drivers who did not exchanging lanes just to move, even if this moves would not give them any advantages on the road. Sorry for my terrible English.

  • @TheRattyrattyrat i guess fuck heads like you want motorcycles to add to road congestion so it takes you even longer to get to work, but i guess that wouldnt even affect you as you probably only walk to your local corner to suck dicks. your a fuckin maggot for wishing someones death! i hope for you that u dont get the brutal bloody death you deserve

  • @TheRattyrattyrat Awww, it the man with the small penis in his big pickup truck stuck in traffic? Diddums.

  • @TheRattyrattyrat sad man, sad

  • @TheRattyrattyrat Hey that's not cool man wishing death upon some one that way is fuck up

  • no lane sharing is legal in ca, we just call it lane splitting , lane splitting is when your in two lanes at the same time which is kind of hard to do on a bike . your ether in one lane or the other or running over the little wake up bumps in the middle

  • @TheRattyrattyrat HAHAHA i agree

  • @TheRattyrattyrat rat...

  • You misspelled "nothing happens."

  • in the uk i woulda tried everything in the book to get through at the end there. there was room for you to sqeeze through.

  • nice ride

  • oh God that line is just fuking horrible i mean it looks u have a bike only for that reason i mean damn wow wtf also the wait must be over 2hrs niiiiiiiiice though

  • whats the name of this song

  • whats the name of this song.... its not Mobb Deep: survival of the fittest, shook ones Pt.II,,,,,, id like to have this track

  • @imjus1guy the original audio was Mobb Deep but it violated YT policies so I had to use a track from their library. The song's details are below the number of views

  • you suck. Music sucks. Your bike sucks.

  • like the music

  • this song makes me want to roll on some ecstasy

  • its easier to lane split when traffic is at a stop.. but when they are moving 10-20 mph thats when they cut in front of you and jack your ass up

  • did he die?

  • this was a waste

  • The people downvoting you have never been on two wheels in their life, and will never experience what we are fortunate enough to experience.

  • @DamnRandall

i have, still a huge thumbsdown from me

  • I love making these guys drop their bikes. Its soo fun.

  • Holy fuck why post that. Traffic on video? As if we don't endure enough on the road.

  • a waste of my life could have been watching a cat of a skate board with a brush up its arse

  • i keep a d cell in my pocket for people who open car doors.

  • nothing happends lol

  • @brettler yeah, considering he has it on video and could file a nice law suit and sue you, wise decision my friend, very wise indeed:).

  • If I saw you coming up in my mirror, I'd open my door.

  • I believe in my state (Maryland) that if traffic is stopped, lane splitting is totally LEGAL for motorcycles and large scooters. This is to help the rider remain visible to cars and trucks, reducing the chance of the rider getting hit. This is only when lane splitting is a safe option, of course.

  • @MrJswans Kind of, there is usually alot of debris on it, and it's illegal. But, it would be an "easier" ride if there wasn't a bunch of crap on it.

  • and some how having the money to buy a bike thats worth thousands more than you'll ever be able to afford makes me a poser? go ride your ninja dip shit

  • haha if i could ride all year i would dumbass but there is a little thing called snow i have to deal with...

  • Negative... I own a fatboy and ride it all summer long! But I have the common sence not to do this stupid shit. And I guess there is no advantage to your bike if you cant keep the thing from over heating now is there?

  • @NHLB7 wow u ride it all summer long! a true biker right there! try riding every day rain hail or shine and not being a faggot harley rider who is just a poser. Everyone knows its safer to get infront of the traffic than being stuck inbetween cars and trucks who dont always see you.

  • I always make sure to block pricks like this bahaha

  • @NHLB7 why because you don't own a bike and cant access its advantages? because you want peoples motorcycles to overheat and wish their property harm? And because somehow this affects you or slows you down in someway?

  • 71 car drivers watched this video :/

  • how is there that much traffic ..

  • what is YT policies did you do something wrong?

  • @quik76 Probably gang rap was originally in the video.

  • sometimes i ride my dirtbike on the street and sometimes a car will try to block me and ill just fake left or right and dart right around them and then just fly...let them try to catch me...xd

  • dude no music!!! original sounds from the helmet !! plz

  • you are a dumb fuck, someone should open there door on you

  • @JWALK2828 envy is a sin lol

  • rc universe, i will be the guy opening my door. dumb fuck

  • @JWALK2828 - interesting notion. Here, I think the cops would hold you down while the biker you'd just wrecked kicked some sense back into your head.

  • that's one of my favorite game :-)

  • this ought to be illegal, one guy nearly hit me while i was changing lanes cause he was on the line...

  • @pantstofry well you should have been more observant then. Mirror signal manouver. You should always know what is around you :)

  • @mealexme well it's kinda tough to be observant when even though i check my surroundings every so often he's like 5 cars behind... then i check my mirrors and blindspot but he's on the line back a ways so its hard to see him.

  • Man the last guy who lane split by me is still in the hospital!! I guess I shouldn't have open my door... His insurance did pay me well though!!! And he got a nice fine also.. worked out well for him he got to ride in an air conditioned ambulance!!.

  • lol when i did this for like the 1000000th time a month ago, a group of 4 teenagers in a honda civic tried to cut me off. Saw it coming a mile away. When they moved left to cover up the white dashed line, just went right around the back of their car and continued on the right side. So fyi, pay attention to cars packed full of what looks like rowdy kids. usually they try to pull something. Also, watch out for police cars.. not that they can do anything in all that traffic, besides turn on lights

  • If you're concerned about heat and traffic, why even take your bike out?

  • Couldn't you just use the breakdown lane off to the left? Or does that risk popping a tire on debris?

  • aha 3:00 no lane splitting for you! ahahahahaha

  • yes you better lane split if your a biker in a traffic jam like that.its not that your being an asshole is that people dont realize that sitting in a car and riding a motorcycle are two different things.you use your whole body when riding a bike unlike a car where ur just sitting.so in a traffic jam like that u can sit in ur car for ever but in a bike you better get your ass going or u will overheat since your out in the open and using most of your body to hold n ride the bike.

  • whats the point of this video

  • dude. . .a man is making a right turn lolz

  • thats why 2 wheels are better then 4

  • aw....dont the cagers hate us?

  • haha I've had close calls with my mirrors and suv mirrors

  • "the inevitable" is you're gonna get split by some car changing lanes. Why don't you use the left shoulder instead? Legal or not, seems much safer to me. How many people would pull on the left shoulder for an emergency stop? (of course they could be drunk and weave to the left, but again, chances are much smaller)

  • My idea is, lane splitting if moving between traffic when the traffic is moving. Lane filtering is move between traffic when it's stationary, like at a set of lights. I think in Australia, lane splitting is frowned upon by police, but lane filtering is actually legal, but you can be fined if you do it dangerously. Like filtering up to the red light at stupid speeds. Most of the time from what i've read it's police discretion though.

  • Dude, I'd be really afraid of some guy pulling in front of me if I did that.

  • apparently, traffic jams do not suck if you're on a bike! nice!

  • Do people hate bikers cuz they sit in traffic while we use the available space in between them to drive... is there any harm in that? Do ppl get pissed that carpoolers have a special lane while they have to sit in the congested lanes? Road rage is the worst... relax.. you have a radio and a comfortable seat along with AC... life's not that bad...

  • @kalikid01 heard that!!!

  • is lane splitting illegal? i see people doing it all the time, and not even in grid lock either. just seems like it would be illegal to drive in an non existent lane.

  • @dhillskier75

you know (for those countries where you drive on the left side of the road) when a car slows and turns left the other cars, instead of slowing, overtake the car to the right while still remaining in their lane?

thats what the bikes do (assumeing they dont go over the middle line)

look up the difference between lane splitting and lane filtering.

some states/countries allow lane filtering and splitting at low speeds.

  • depends on the state. I read that in texas (obviously where i live) that lane splitting is legal. It is at your own risk of course.

  • The shoulder would have been faster and not to mention safer. All you need is one cager to ruin your day.

  • @C5rrr thats technically illegal tho isnt it?? isnt filtering legal?

  • 1:20 PA driver

  • Nice riding. Perfect safe speed too. Damm though some of those cars were close together and you still managed to squeeze by. I would ve chickened out and not tried it.

  • good ridin dude, totally legal, speed was safe...they are just hatin cause you get to work faster AND with better gas mileage...hint hint to all those who hate traffice and gas prices

  • Lane splitting is only stupid/unaccepted in states where it isn't legalized where the cagers feel they have the right to cut bikers off and drive slow in the left lane. CA is the most populated state in the USA and the most bike-centric/driver/rider freindly. Lane splitting AND MOVING TO THE RIGHT in CA is the law AND a way of life. Cars/bikes have a collective mutual respect due to these CA laws...more states should instate/allow both.

  • @05EVORS i agree im in texas and its not allowed...it should be though

  • @05EVORS I think it's great that car stayed as far left as possible and kept him from getting past.

  • I remember watching this video some time ago when the original audio was still in, you were cursing out the cop because you had to sit in traffic then.

  • I was waiting for someone to change lanes in front of him or open a car door. Just stupid.

  • thats a good track.

  • Well that was 5 mins of my life ill never get back!

  • Who the fuck said you had to watch all of it...

  • oooooo. Well coz it said ''the inevitable happens'' Thought something was going to happen!!!

  • i think they meant that the inevitable was that we would all get OLDER,

  • I guess the "inevitable" is that the video ends?

  • My God, those cars weren't going ANYWHERE!

  • nice splitting skills, wish this was legal in michigan

  • Guess you had to speed up the clip to try and make it exciting!! Have you seen Ghostrider (euro Streetbiker)????

  • GARDEN STATE PKWY

  • Stop And Go Traffic. phew!

  • if u were on that motorcycle and u were stuck in traffic that would suck

  • Morrisonrisin, you are very bitter. You're complaining doesn't change the fact that you're stuck in traffic so why complain?! And the fact that he may have a car or 2 or 3 doesn't make him a bigger polluter because he isn't using those vehicles to commute now is he?

  • whats splitting lanes mean?

  • also known as filtering; when a rider rides in between car lanes.

  • @zone07

    is it legal?

  • One less Jam Jar (car) on the road, this guy gets to work on time not you stuck in traffic. Plus this guy's not polluting to the same extent as all those other folks running their engines with full ac on. I'd say this guy is the smartest person on the road and green to boot. Need laws to allow lane splitting, never heard of a bike causing a traffic jam

  • you act like this guy doesnt own a car or 2 or 3 for all we know

  • I am an asshole. Y should I wait in traffic if I'm not causing anyone any harm; plus my bike will overheat and shutdown if idling.

  • yeah i do the same thing, if it's stand still traffic there's absolutely no danger in doing it. People just get pissed off because they're in cars stuck in traffic and can't do the same.

  • @zone07 your an asshole because you mislead everyone with the title of your video. everyone wants to see you eat shit, asshole

  • maybe you should get a non piece of shit bike....

  • Fuck sitting in traffic, what is a bike for. I would find it weird if i seen a bike not filtering through traffic.

  • Filtering helps ease congestion and there fore polution, so dont go around telling people not to filter because your just gelous that your harley wouldnt fit through the gap and if it does then your fat a** certainly wouldnt.

  • its funny how serious you guys take this and how deffensive it is to you nomatter what you guys say this is illegal and dangerous which is exactly why you stoped doing it once you got close to the cops and action cause you would have been ticketed

  • Very shallow minded arnt you? There is no evidence in this video to show he was in the US, here in the UK this is allowed, and its called filtering, please show me one part of this film where he was causing a hazard?

  • He had to stop because the fucking highway is shut down. Lanes where closed and merging to the right.

  • highway wasnt shut down you just had to move to the right.. so why not move to the right and keep being an asshole instead of actually obeying the law and waiting your turn in a long ass line like everyone else its illegal yea you dumb fucks do it all the time that doesnt make it legal. if a car turned into you while doing this it would be your fault not the cars. which means your in the wrong .... not the guy that hit you he didnt expect some idiot to be riding by 2 inches from his door...

  • lane splitting is legal in CA but over a certain speed they're likely to pull you over for reckless driving.

  • true, but unless that cop is on a bike as well, then adios cop cruiser lol

  • dangerous...but not illegal in cali ;)

  • lmmfaooooo, that's classic

  • @RcUniverseGuy Drivers who think like you kill motorcyclists. Motorcycles are more economical than cars.

    1. We don't kill people.

    2. We don't kill environment as much as you guys do. ( A/C, Tons of Oil , 4 Rubber Tires, Bigger Engines )

    3. We are better drivers than you because we pay attention than jerk off or take a phone call.

    4. We take up less space.

Think about it lets say your on a escalator and theres a fat ass standing in front of you just standing there. Would you walk past him?

  • @BebopBHunter and your the reason your the asshole... you think your better than everyone else just for those reasons yea you dont kill people because you crash into trees doing a buck 40 like my cousin did last year and died.. or you cause other accidents because your swerving in and out of cars... i dont talk on a cell phone or text and drive so thats a fail only little tween girls or faggots do i live in a state where a car is required it gets below zero and shows heavily in the winter...

  • @BebopBHunter im not tryin to be a dick but lets face it bikes crash and cause accidents as well as cars do. im sure you have watched your fair share of motorcycle videos here on youtube there is a hell of alot of wreckless motorcycle riders out there and you know that.

  • @RcUniverseGuy its legal dumb fuck!! would you wait in traffic? fuck no and neither would i your the asshole its not like hes taking up your space if it makes u mad buy a bike and do it yourself prick!

  • @RcUniverseGuy dont think every biker who does lane splitting thinks he is something special. he did it slowly and save. also if he stands like 30min or 1h in traffic, with no wind or shorts and tshirt on like in a car, or even air con. u getting pretty hot in ur leather clothes. also its not very good for the bike standing all the time in that heat.

  • @tobicks no joke about getting too hot. I overheated in 100 degree weather on, I didn't know what was going on at the time but I felt weak and lost my awareness.... it was kind of scary.

  • @MrWegl yup thats bad. anf when you're a biker in traffic like he is in the video, with high degrees, you better lane split because it will get too hot.

imo if you do it slow its ok

  • @RcUniverseGuy You are sitting in a comfortable car with conditioning, mp3 and unlimited amount of cold drinks. We are sitting in heavy jacket and trousers. Even your girlfriend in winter doesn't wear boots as heavy as your motorcycle boots. We are hot, uncomfortable and tired. Fair enough to split lines?

  • @RcUniverseGuy Not sure about where this video was shot, ut in my country filtering in perfectly legal and is actually one of the reasons i decided to get a bike over a car.

Are you saying that if you had a bike that could fit through a gap etween cars that you would sit in traffic for hours over riding straight through it?

  • @RcUniverseGuy faggot

  • @RcUniverseGuy I always wonder how stupid you actually have to be not to comprehend that filtering bikes lessen the congestion thus making it faster to drive a car as well? And if you think otherwise - 1 - there are studies showing this - 2 - in most countries in the world that's exactly the reason filtering is legal and in many placec strongly encouraged! The only place I know of at the moment that have lane splitting illegal is USA... and god knows why :|

  • @thaurgurth so true

  • @RcUniverseGuy douche

  • @RcUniverseGuy All hail the great car driver.

If it upsets you so much, get a bike.

  • @RcUniverseGuy in other countries ( and in cali) this is completely legal. It doesnt harm anyone and actually prevents rear end accidents. its not like you are cutting in line, because cutting in line implies that you are somehow affecting other people or making them slower, but since you accelerate faster you aren't impeding there progress.

Unfortunately since not alot of people do it in this coutnry and there arent alot of bikes or scooters people in cars freak out about it.

  • LAWL

  • haha bet those people were like "damn i wish i had a bike about now"

  • a YT song; the original song on the vid got taken down. It says; Heart of Pain (un mixed) Dirty Dot, Elements 03.

  • One of the facts of driving is if theres congestion people will change lanes and motorcyclists will always act surprised and upset when it happens. These people have their windows up, their aircon on, the stereo playing and theyre on the phone or talking to another occupant. They dont care about you, they dont know about you, and at the speed these bikes do they dont see you because theyre looking ahead, not behind. They are never going to change and youll die waiting for them to do so.

  • motorcyclists should always be prepared for the worst. It is the rider's own responsibility to lookout for themselves and not to expect drivers to be safe.

  • I agree. It may be dangerous, you just have to be super careful. You seem like you only do it when they're really slow or stopped. That's smart - that way they're not going to change lanes.

  • I agree with you man but i mean didn't they teach you during lessons to actually check your mirrors and blindspot before doing a lane change? Before you lane change. If they did no matter how loud a stereo blasting you'd deffinitely save a life or 2. And using HP?? Your not suppose to do that when your driving unless its some handsfree or somethin.

Best for us riders to play the defensive role and prepare for anything that might pop up.

  • @Ogenerang Its because of lack of education and courtesy. Sometimes you can see a cager that has a cyclist in family or rides, himself, because he will look for bikes, and use signals when jumping across from behind stalled lanes.

  • damn bro....I bet all those people who had to sit in traffic were pissed at you...

  • thats y its fun lol =)

  • @Fenderrocker34 why should they be pissed? just cuz he's fortunate enough to be on a bike in the jam? good for him!!

  • Horrible traffic man.

  • what a huge back up on the highway...
