When are we going to be able to play RS2006? I just found out about it today, and I though I could start playing! I was soo bummed that it hasnt came out yet. Haha. Great idea to the people making it. I am like others, the only think I'm not looking forward to is doing the quests again. LOL.

i hope theres no skillcapes in rs2006, i enjoyed it before when people actually got 99's because they thought of it as a goal. nowadays people are only getting 99's for the skillcapes, its really ruined the sense of achievement in this game.

It still is about the 'adventure' even whilst I achieved many goals on Rs in 2012 after you complete them its boring then. Even though I have already done most things in 2006 it will definitely be a new fresh start and you won't be able to just cruise by xferring 10m to your account. You actually will have to work for it.

@The2006Guild Wow you are so right. I voted for 1x a while back. I used to play the remake RSReborn and they started with 2x but rolled it back due to people getting like 60 thieving in under 2 days. Also if we have skill capes we have to have the stupid warriors guild and if we get capes but no guild this is a private server

5: Runescape made 1x because of the membership, which means you had to be member to finish your goals because you need more time to accomplish your goals.

6: Rs2006 should be 2x because it takes still long time to train all that. If the server gets 1x, then goodluck on this server to be a bot server after 3 months.

1: Rs2007 got shutdown because the source was leeched. It took people 2 days to find that out, so Vault went in panic and shut down rs2007.

2: Real runescape in 2006, had over 2 million players playing daily, this remake will not be exact the same without that many players.

3: If your hoping on a server that is exact the same as runescape in 2006 then your totally stupid because it can not happend.

4: People already played runescape back in 2006, and got 99s, why should they redo that?

Lol... Why you can't undestand 1 thing? It's not runescape2k11 cuz in 2006 no ags, no claws, bandos or other shits, training will be REALLY hard with 1x. It's only a fucking private server and also we not sure about quest's. We can't train really fast and i won't spend like 1 year to lvl 99 att, str, def also 99 hp... 1 more thing. I think it's impossible to make all quest's working cuz need to add cutscenes and much more things. I think they just PISS off making quest's and close the server ^^.

You made a good point about how its the journey that is what counts, this why i think a lot of people will be disappointed in rs2006, they've already had the journey. Going back to the game isn't going to bring back the nativity that made runescape fun then because the people playing it already know the tricks to it and nothing is new and exciting.

@The2006Guild I made my first (and only) account in 2002, Runescapes PvM has only really taken off since GWD and it's right now that Jagex are taking a interest in pvm Sunfreet and Tok-haar in one month! xD. I went to chaos elemental a lot before their was other bosses but that was with a clan so we did a bit of pvp and a bit of pvm but thats different, the only Pvm i recall people frequently was barrows which even at the time was a grind not a challenge. KQ and KBD drop rates were way to low.

@skatahkickflip I enjoy slayer atm with Jad tasks, Ice strykewarms, dedicated slayer dungeons, kuradel, effigies, Row drops, slayer helm, slayer points and other stuff. Slayer and Pvm is the thing that has generally improved over the years in my opinion.
