Thankyou Juan ;-) My 3 kids grew up so fast and thankfully I have photos of them through the years to remind me of the many happy days gone by. Thankyou for your kind comment...maybe you can see a little Ecuatoriano in them, it's there ;-)
I am not good with faces and nationalities, but Ecuadorians have a large range of appearances anyway, like most South American citizens. Hope you and your family remain well and happy.
Thankyou so much spiralisedcat! Yeah nostalgia is kind of dreamy, but the kids have WAY better toys nowadays! lol.. btw, you have made some great original music and I enjoy your channel~ in fact I think I'll go visit again now! ;-)
The late great Victrolaman1 had "Million Dollar Baby" on by Buddy Blue and his Orchestra on Crown 3149A,the flip side was "On The Beach With You".Thanks Linda.
Well I'll Be!..... Bigband1, you won't believe this but I ran into The GREAT Victrolaman1 too and he had some GEMS!....He isn't late, he's great! ;-)) His Winter Wonderland recording was the BEST I have EVER heard in my entire life and I miss his presence on youtube tremendously...It's a good thing you are here to pull up the slack..lol..Isn't that somethin'! We both know Victrolaman....It really is a Small World After All! isn't it? LOL!
His "Jingle Bells"+"Winter Wonderland"got him Booted on Christmas Eve.The Warner GODS struck him down for 80 year old Christmas tunes right before Midnight Mass.
Hi Gia! Thankyou for taking the time to watch my family video..how nice of you ;-)....I tried to comment on your page today, twice, but it disappeared...maybe youtube is sleeping ...I'll be there again soon...I love your videos
I have a question, does anyone know who else has sung this song? I've been desperately looking to find this song on record, and no luck yet. Thank you :)
On this recording Frank Auburn is a pseudonym for Ben Selvin directing a studio orchestra including Benny Goodman who has a nice solo at the end. Just a great recording!
Thankyou for that interesting info phredl! I'm listening to it again myself to hear the Benny Goodman part...very smoothe...I never get tired of this great song
oh wow! I just went to your channel to subscribe to you and see you have favorited this and Bigband's videos!...He's got some GREATS!!!! and he is a real nice guy to boot~! Thankyou phredl~
You're very welcome!...also..Look up: The Boswell Sisters...they did a great recording of the song in 1930 or 1931...I think Amazon has it..and...Amazon definitely has: Original Dance Music Of The 1920's and 1930's
Wonderful as ever Linda - keep the quality coming along!
Merry Christmas!
