That's the Yellow Magic Orchestra tune 'Rydeen' which plays in the background from 1:29. Never picked up on this at the time!

This is the first Doctor Who story I remember seeing. I remember the bit when a policeman's helmet emerges from the sewers, only for it to be revealed as the Doctor.
And a bit of Ian McCaskill thrown in too for good measure! :)

I haven't been back to England in almost a decade.... how are you guys doing with your end credits? Are they basically ignored in favor of upcoming show announcements or are they still allowed to play out?

things are bad here with quick credits,end titles made small to show the next show and cont anounc rattling on about other shows.Some old shows from the 60s (shown on itv 4)have edits in them,in order to show more ads!!
