This, in my opinion, is a very beautiful film. The scene where Amelie entirely dissolves into floods of tears when she can't yet bear to reveal her love for her beau, is so true, and it always gets me in my heart. Wonderful!

im learning french and have an amazing interest and respect for the french culture

this movie is one of the greatest films ever made in my opinion and displays so much about the inner truths of humanity

yann teirsen is a fabulous score writing adding much for feeling and emotion to the characters and plot

americans need to stop being so selfish and ignorant and expose themselves to other cultures

even if its only through subtitles

Each time I go to Paris I take the soundrack, I listen to it while walking and...wow what a great atmosphere!

You're right, peolple should be more open-minded. As for me of course I'm interested in my culture but it doesn't prevent me from learning about other cultures and loving it!
