For an anime that tackles the plot it does, it does really, really well. Was it the best, story-wise? No. But it was intriguing, had me guessing at a few points, had loveable characters and some bomb-ass action.

@TomoharuN4tsume a third season would not make any sense in this case, He saved both worlds, cleared Takiaya's heart. But i tottaly agree about the OVA, it should show what the first world Tomoharu had to go through, including to the point where he gets shot.

@laahah1 Well this guy named Natsume, is your basic average student, minus the fact that his best friend is a ghost that "haunts" him. In the background of his high school life, the world is dying and there's these groups of people that try to stop the world from ending. It's kinda hard to really explain since S1 is more about the relationships between the robots and the owner, while S2 is more about the plot. The storyline is also a bit rushed but I still enjoyed it :)

yeah, i love both openings as well. i would say i like spiral just a little better, as it took me a little longer for alternative to grow on me. Love how each hits their highest point of the song at the end. Definitely my favorite characteristic about both songs.
