This game on "true" maximum graphics is amazing. Did you use FXAA? Maximum draw distances? 16x Anti-aliasing? 16x Anisotropic Filtering? Also you can go into your video card settings to enable Anti-aliasing that's higher than the game is capable of.

Not saying this game looks like a 2006 game, just uses an engin that hasn't been that much upgraded since then. Look at the Witcher 2, undeniably blows this game out of the water graphics wise.

@asull822 Yes you will be able to play it with maximum details. The only thing thats not "that" good is your graphics card but it will be good enough to play it on maximum details.

I alt tabbed to show my friend a screenshot of this problem, and when I went back in I had a steady 40 FPS on top of Dragonreach...

I do have the weird Texture popping though (At one position, you see no moss, another one you only see moss, another one shows the correct ratio.) Turning AA off fixes this..

Hey, I wanted to ask you if you did anything special to make it run this smoothly..

I have the same specs (Phenom II x4 955 @ 3.5, ATI 6850 1GB, 8GB ram) and it lags like massively when I'm on ultra...

The only difference would be the 0.1 Ghz, and my monitor being a 1280x1024!

@Anthyrst I dont know really. It should run really good on your comp, since it also runs on my PC even with a higher resolution and fraps on. Check if you have any unnecessary programs in the background running or stuff like that.

Also, I overclocked my Phenom to 3.5 but it still shows as 3.2 in the System info... Thanks for the reply though :)

(Normally I'm playing with 2 amd 5770 but then i have graphic bugs in skyrim..)

@Rommelicious1 Im mostly playing games in english but this game really depends much on understanding the story and quests so I decided to play it on german. I have to admit that most games/tv shows really are better in english. Also, german is my native language so why shouldnt I play it on german. I like both languages.

Oh and there are like thousands of other videos in english available, you dont have to watch my video :)

Here in the Netherlands every game, tv show and what not is in English. In Germany they audiodub every single thing on the pc and tv. Hehe... I managed to run the game on an about 6 years old computer:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2,4 GHz, 2GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT 256MB RAM...

It runs on 1920x1080, and pauses only every few minutes... Great work optimizing the game, Bethesda!

@shaggmanalicous I guess you mean the game, not my video. You need the right hardware to play it on 1920x1080. Try to lower some of the other settings and see if it changes. I got a Phenom II X4 955 @3.6 Ghz, ATI 6850 1GB, 8GB Ram and it's perfectly fine, even with Fraps on.

If you mean the video, I dont know. It probably is an issue with your internet connection.
