Well... the origin of the joker... kinda a good story but you have to keep in mind that he doesn't know himself (or at least, that's what he said) his own origin... but that's the way i see this...

Nice review. This is why I prefer Batman to ever other comic book. They aren't afraid to do a controversial comic.

Barbarra Gordon is a great character, great as Batgirl and great as Oracle.

Also, I was hoping you would mention the joke that Joker tells Batman at the end.

Good question, I personally have a theory that the man in that short comic became the villain in the new Batman short comic series, Batman Cacophony

After I finish reading The Killing Joke , which I should be getting in the mail by next week , I'll pickup The League of Extraordinary Gentleman. I heard they destroyed that movie . Anyways , I'll let you know how both go.

Movies...*sigh* comic movies are good but never as good as the comic, the Constantine movie is nothing like the original Hellblazer series

As for characters im interested i'd say anything batman , superman , joker , hulk , and anything alan moore wrote. Your the expert, im the novice. You let me know , i'm open to read anything.

I'm no expert, I am just a man, with so very many books, anyhow, Alan Moore has done alot, check out The League of Extraordinary Gentleman and tell me what you think, As for Hulk, Hulk The End was great, Joker...hmm...Joker's Asylum was okay, but it was kinda like Freddy Kreuger's television show, thats my opinion anyhow, Superman, I would reccomend Superman Red Son and Batman pick up Ressurection of Ras Al Ghul and Batman Private Casebook

Great review man! I had a friend recommend watchmen a few months back and I absolutely loved it. I am really interested in  reading more graphic novels and i'd really appreciate any recommendations. I just ordered the killing joke on amazon after watching your review. Can't wait to get it and comment on it!

Actually, there is no true origin for the joker. Its been argued over for many years, this is just the one used for the animated series. If you ask someone from DC, rumor is, they wont give you a straight answer

Oh the irony, the dark knight returns was one of the batman graphic novels on my list, but even though Batman is my favorite DC hero, there are other heroes, so Batman may need to temporarily take a backseat, but your requests are on my list, promise.
