Then I rented the movie this weekend, the first weekend of its release on video, and now I know why it won so many Oscars. It is a fantastic movie and the soundtrack is first rate. If you have not seen the movie or heard the soundtrack, I say rent it, rent it, oh crap just buy it. You will not be disappointed.

Sorry, Sarah, the two words "Jai ho!" really do mean "Be victorious!"

"You are my destiny" is the title of the English version.

Translations of song titles can often be quite different from the original titles.
