  • how does this pedal sound when playing green day on a les paul

  • @jelledegitaarman I don't have a les paul and have never done it, but it probably sounds pretty good

  • Well done Joe, I enjoyed this demo, both the sound and your playing.

  • @Ju287V3 thanks!

  • Yes , Great sound .Thanks for this .

Can You describe all your guitar equipmeny and settings ?

Thank You again very much .

  • @March090369 I dont remember exact settings but It's a stock valve junior into a 2x12 closed back cab loaded with celestion g12 m70's. the only pedal I have running is the plexitone

  • man i love that twangy hendrix/srv sound ... did you also try one or two mics close to the cabinet, like sm57 ... ? i wonder how the e906 would sound in combination with the pedal and a small tube amp

  • @intermediate007 I had the e906 relatively far from the cab like maybe 5 inches away. I have actualy tried using a 57/e906 at the same time when I recorded a song with my band. The combo sounds really good and full.

  • what is speakers You are use in this demo ?

    Thanks .

  • @March090369 they're old celestion g12 m70's

  • is there any noise on pedal?

  • @VelhosNovos umm in the drive part of it theres not really any noise at all. but once you get to the high gain setting if your volumes high you get some feedback

  • It really nails the plexi tone well for a pedal. I use to have two early 70s super lead half stacks and thats really close to what my amps had going on at ridiculous volumes!

The secret to this pedal seems to be the tonality like you said SRV hendrix esp. with a good strat. I can buy one now for hundred bucks off. I think I will... Its worth it. Don't sound fizzy like a bad distortion or compressed like a standard Boss OD or anything alike. Has some body to the sound.

  • Great playing for a kid so young, it's hard not be invious (from a 40 yr old man). Very prefessional demo as well. Keep playin'!!

  • you're 40 and you don't know how to spell envious?...

  • Nice demo, tone and playing.

Weird, i have the excact same shirt from American Eagle :)

  • thanks!

    hahahah go paddywackers?

  • great strat sound!

  • nice demo, that pedal sounds great..i wonder if anyone has tried it with a solid state amp

  • @xntrickk hey I'm sorry this took a while but I actaully have played it in a solid stage amp. I think it sounds a little harsher and brittler but that also depends on what amp you play it through. It would definitely sound better through a good tube amp tho.

  • HEy man thanks so much I have the same exact setup and i was looking for hendrix tone...you helped me

  • hey no problem man

  • Have you played it with humbuckers? Does it respond well to them?

  • ya i've played it with my schecter, it has two duncan pickups in it. it sounds good. I'm sure if you had a guitar like a les paul or something with a a more distinct tone it would sound really good, especially through a cranked amp.

  • 5* for the rewiew!

  • good job and nice tones.

What gear is used ?(guitar, amp, speakers)

  • hey thanks a lot, I'm using a Fender Strat and an epiphone valve junior head through a 2x12 cab loaded with Celestion G12M70's

  • Hi Joe!

    Great Sound!Hendrix..."EVH/Hendrix".. :))) Just Great!

  • Nice job
