  • may i add thi Eastwind

  • u used the wrong type of 737. United 585 was a Boeing 737-200 and the one u used is a 737-300. Other than that, great vid.!

  • Being in a 737 along the base of the Rocky Mountains is absolute hell. Its like being a pingpong ball in a pingpong match. I was in a plane that hit a rotor coming over the edge of the Rockies once. We went into this nasty dive a few seconds and heard the engines make a loud whirring noise, then the nose of the plane jerked back up and we continued normally. I don't know if that was a 737 or 727, but coming low over the Rockies in smaller aircraft is HELL.

  • @habbadou --ive done it a bunch. it can be a lil choppy but ive never had that happen.

  • Correction: Missiles, large bombs leave craters, not hollow aluminum airliners.

Why should we believe a government that lies? How can one tell truth from lies? WMDs, Gulf of Tonkin, Bin Ladin still pushing his dialisis machine in those mts? The caves that never were? Cellphones don't work at 30K feet? Flt 800 that 100+ saw missile trails? The USG always tells the trutn.

  • My husband was 5 or 6 when this happened and actually saw it happen. They made the crash site into a nice park, I live 5 minutes from it. It left a BIG crator.

  • You're full of shit.

  • what the fuck is with the dramatically HAPPY music!!!!?

  • Actually they assume its rudder... cause right after 585 flt 427 crashed. So they assumed both went crashed similar to eachother. but 585 stil is a mystery... some say it was windshear and some say it was the rudder.

  • @108418 --ntsb concluded it was rudder.

  • aileron problem..google it if u wanaan know more

  • wrong. rudder problem. don't post false comments.

  • Touching music. Especially the crescendo when the plane starts spinning.

  • yeah... Jerry Goldsmith's theme for "Rudy" has always conjured up images of charred flesh and mutilated bone and tissue and blood. Mmmm... flesh.

  • The plane was a Boeing B737-200ER Series and the US Air 427 also suffered the same fate(B737-300ER Series), while the East Wind 517 was the only survivor in this situation

  • pobre personas, Paz a sus restos.

  • Oh my God . Fly 585 and 587 crash?. please change this the number 500 for the every flys.

    this the Clasic boeing 737.

  • Manu2455, flight 587 (American Airlines) was an Airbus A300-600 series, not a 737, not even a Boeing product.

  • that's really sad, lots of ppl lost friends and family, thats just so sad, families and friends will never seem them again =(....i lost 2 good ppl on that fight, =(....till this day it still has an impact on me =(...a tragic sad loss, feels like a part of me is missing, cause i lost 2 of the best friends ever =(

  • what is the name othe song?

  • I fucking don't care if this music is "inappropriate". Just for information, I did the video, and I can judge for myself if the music is yes or no appropriate. In the following case I think it is, so fuck you all!!

  • I seen this in tv.

  • I seen this in tv.

  • What the hell is with the music? I feel like Lassie should be licking my face about now...

Aaaaanyways, that was a rudder failure. When you lose a control surface like that, you're pretty much screwed. This happened to a USair 737 also - rudder servo failures, all of which have been corrected now.

  • It sounds like the theme from Halloween, porn music and elevator music are playing at the same time. What gives?

Anyway, was the wind responsible for this crash? If it was a rudder, isn't there a way to get out of that somehow like thrusters??

  • whats w/ the strange music!?

  • i like flight simulator 2004 but know one cares here im guessing lol

  • which flight sim was used to make part of this?

  • darn!it wont load all the way its getting really enoying!

  • poor ppl of flight 585, =( how sad it crashed.

  • Had a similar experience one night going into COS while flying for Western Pacific back in '96, in a 737-300. While on final to runway 30, in similar wind conditions, we experienced an instantaneous 60 knot increase in airspeed at 300 feet AGL that rolled the airplane into approximately a 60 degree left bank. It took full aileron deflection and lots of rudder to initiate an immediate go-around. Lots of sick bags in the back and a change of skivvies up front.

  • HOW ABOUT US AIR FLIGHT 427 INSTEAD OF UNITED Flight 585

  • i dont like the music you put for the flight simulator, the music should be intense, not sad, it fits very good when the ATC Personell says "Crash!" though, so i give it a 7/10

  • The rudder didn't "fail", it reversed.

  • Excellent

  • Yes I did fly it on Flightgear Flight Simulator

  • you addition was made it only better.

  • did you fly that on flight sim.

  • Thanks alot

  • You made a really good job.
