Sean Penn deserves it, i don't care if he won it a couple of years ago, Harvey is his role of a life-time, he transformed into Harvey for this role.

Winslet doesn't win this year, you heard it here first, trust me, they will give to Meryl Streep or Angelina Jolie (for some reason the Academy members have been buzzing about Jolie as a dark horse, Streep is the favorite

Slumdog wins Best Picture, Director, Score, Song, Adapted Screenplay, cinemography and editing

oh come on doubt was the best film of 2008 but still kate winslets performance is by a nose the best one ! she is 1. then meryl !! i mean come on kate was nominated 6 times aint the time for her ? come on ? meryl however was magnificent gooosh i dont know we will see in some hours !! I support Kate though :p

Kate Winslet should have been nominated in supporting for The Reader, instead of Amy Adams..which I like very much, but still...

that would have been fair: Meryl and Kate would both have won their well deserved Oscar.

But I still hope Meryl wins:)..she's the best

she will. I have faith! I personally don't see what was so great about Winslett in The Reader (she was much better in Revolutionary Road if you ask me). but then again, I personally though Doubt was the best picture of the year and that's already out.

I don't think Sean Penn is going to win, reason he won a few years ago.

I don't Kate Winslet will make it this year, to complicated. First she wins in a supporting role for The Reader and now nominated as best actress....strange.

Supporting Actor oscar should not go to Heath Ledger, I hate posthume awards.

Supporting actress, is not very clear to me...it's wide open.
