The Illini have always been a bunch of dirty bastards...Bartow should have been arrested on the court and charged with assault and battery. That was the most blatant foul that I've ever seen in a collegiate basketball game.

That's far from the cheapest cheap shot ever (Bill Lambier owns the top 5). It's a stupid foul, but far from a cheap shot with the intent to injure. Bardo was basically just out of control as soon as his feet left the ground. Not a proud moment, but certainly not something to hold a grudge for 20 years on.

Great video. Kevin Grevey is my dad and I never get the chance to see Norm play. Thanks for posting this. A real challenge would be trying to find footage of his other two brothers Scott (Pitt) and Brian (South Carolina).

Cheapest cheap shot EVER!! Bardo should have been ejected.
Dayton would have beat Arkansas in the next game if they had Grevey and the refs didn't decide to stop calling fouls.
Please, please upload more games from this season, especially the last regular season games against Notre Dame and Xavier and the conference championship game against Xavier. That was the greatest week of college basketball EVER!!

@inspectorfetz. I disagree with the Arkansas. That 40 minutes of hell is tough to deal with. They didn't try to take you down but they did a lot of Nancy Kerrigan's from 94 feet on every play. I think Dayton would have been tough but if anybody like Grevey had a bad leg, they made you pay for not being an athlete.
