Ok! If a cavernoma reaches the surface it is less hazardous to resect. I thought the MRi showed a more central location. A good result,dear colleague! Thanks and success!
well done! Brave to split the midline. The cavernoma is located quite centrally in the pontomedullary region. Did the patient had any neurological symptoms afterwards?

brave :-) not really , this is a redo operation , the first one was 10 years ago,
he had a pontine bleeding reaching to the surface so he had a pre prepaired approach.
he did have a 6th nerve post operatively from which he is recovering.
