Exactly. In the first bout the ref did take his time to count but that was unnecessary since Bute got up in about 8 seconds real time. With 5 seconds left to the fight there was not enough time for Andrade to even cross the ring to swing again. Peeps were angry at the obvious long count even though it was irrellevent anyway.

bute is up at 6. as soon as he's on his feet the time-keeper should ring the bell as the fight was over. there was a long count but it didn't matter...the fight was already over. all bute had to do was get to his feet before ten...& he did.

Couldn't agree more; I guarantee you if the Andrade had looked like Bute did before he went down the fight would've been stopped. And then even when Bute got up, he still looked out on his feet. I don't think the fight was fixed exactly, but it looks like Bute got the hometown advantage in that fight. That may be officially a decision for Bute, but it's really a KO victory for Andrade.

Exactly. In the first bout the ref did take his time to count but that was unnecessary since Bute got up in about 8 seconds real time. With 5 seconds left to the fight there was not enough time for Andrade to even cross the ring to swing again. Peeps were angry at the obvious long count even though it was irrellevent anyway.

bute is up at 6. as soon as he's on his feet the time-keeper should ring the bell as the fight was over. there was a long count but it didn't matter...the fight was already over. all bute had to do was get to his feet before ten...& he did.
& there was a rematch too...bute won well & was the better man. no controversy here.

Marlon B Wrong is a house negro who cheated poor Andrade of a storybook win. Bute got up at 10 (if you count properly) and was in absolutely NO shape to continue, and the ref could've and shouldve stopped the fight- He took about 20 seconds to save Bute.
That said Bute is the far superior boxer and unless he gets fatigued again he will own the limited but tough Librado. If it werent for the ending, there would be NO rematch. Bute beat the shit out of Andrade for 11+ rounds.

He got up at about 8 or 9 anyway with no help from the ref. But, Andrade was pretty much in the neutral corner all the time, or hading towards that.There is no rule that says that you will have to bond with the corner when the other one is counted. Let's be serious..It's enough to be in the opposite corner, some 4-5 meters from the opponent. If the count would have been made correctly, Andrade would still have had some 8 seconds left from the match to KO Bute.And he would have definitely done it

Part of the rules in boxing when you knock somebody down is to STAY in your corner and obviously Andrade couldn't stay put and that costed him the fight. The ref was just doin his job. I understand that Andrade probably wanted to jump on Bute right away if he beat the count but that doesn't mean its alright to leave your corner even if there's a few seconds left in the fight.

Couldn't agree more; I guarantee you if the Andrade had looked like Bute did before he went down the fight would've been stopped. And then even when Bute got up, he still looked out on his feet. I don't think the fight was fixed exactly, but it looks like Bute got the hometown advantage in that fight. That may be officially a decision for Bute, but it's really a KO victory for Andrade.
I really hope I never see that ref in a major boxing match again.

What?? He wasn't throwing punches for the last 2 minutes! The first 28 minutes he was winning the fight. Bute fell, was knocked down, agreed, but the rules clearly state that the guy who still stands MUST go back to his corner. The ref had to go back to Andrade again and again to tell him. How fucken stupid do you have to be to have to have a ref continually tell you to step off.
The rematch will tell all, the fight wasn't fixed at all!

Cheddar323, the uploader of this video, imade a totally subjective and superficial comment since the very beginning: "Once again proof that Canada will stop at nothing to win!" Bull shit! Are u sure it's Canada and not US u're talikn about? And, for all the frustrated dudes who post stupid comments: Watch the entire match or, at least, listen to the comments they make! Andrade left his corner when he shouldnt.

Robbery! Andrade won by KO! That's the sad truth! Bute is the better boxer, but he loose this fight. He can thank the referee (who is payed by the officials who organised this fight)

yesterday bute showed hes the real champion, by litteraly Destroying Zuniga, who only lost by KO against Kelly Pavlik and it was on the 9th round. If Andrade fights Bute again, Andrade is gonna get knocked out and we will never hear of him again.

i dont think hes going to knock out andrade like zungia after all zungia was a smaller fighter andrade im sure is not going to get kod any time soon bute is going to need a hammer to ko andrade

maybe he's not going to knock him out, bu Bute is a lot smarter then Andrade, and i think he learned rom his mistakes. If Bute beats Andrade, i'd love to see Bute - Kessler, or Bute - Froch
