This guy was inspired by God's words. He started his artwork upon hearing God's words of love n truth, responded with painting, expressed his worship & faith thru a God given talent, ie. painting. God bless you bro-in-Christ. God makes each of us unique with different talents. He connects with us differently, of cos in ways nvr against His words. Bearing in mind His plans for each is unique, we're nobody to criticise how one connects to God esp when it differs fr our own.

Why would anyone who calls themselves Christian find any inspiration in this video? The guy is an artist, he makes money at it, this isn't a picture of Jesus and that is that. If I were in a church and this guy was invited to perform (and that is what he is doing) I would leave that church. Study to find thyself approved; not watch a painter to get inspired. The word alone should be your inspiration!

Worship is more than just singing, maybe the way he truely connects with God is through painting, and while this video for me is nothing more than just neat, If it somehow leads someone else to God then more power to it.

I can understand what you are saying but to say you would walk out of a church if his guy was there would not be that cool or at lest i think, because even tho it might not be ment for you Its meet for tho that do not know christ or understand him and seeing this how all tho words make christ who he is maybe be the only way they can be reach you never know what will open ones eyes so dont walk out on something like that the one next to you may need someone to talk to and pray with u never know

True, but not all people "seek" the same way. Some respond to visual. We have to use all talent that Christ gives us to reach the lost. I am in a drama group at my church as we do a lot of skits to reinforce the point of a sermon. I can't even count on my hands the number of times people were touched by a drama - ever a comedy. We get inspired by Christ to do many things - what about all the great painters who were inspired by their faith?

Mark Eckel(not sure about spelling of last name) is the person who does the Splat Experience. I believe he is located in Winona Lake, IN. You should be able to find his webpage using Google. I have a copy of the one you posted. Let me know if you need more information. I watched him do it live at a youth conference several years ago. He does an awesome job.
