Is it possible to be any cooler than this? Todays music (the real stuff - not some producers idea of what we want to hear) doesn't suck but back then I could hear so many different types of things. I was in the 8th grade in 1973 and I could watch In Concert or Don Kirschners Rock Concert with Rory Gallagher, Montrose, Grand Funk, Humble Pie, King Crimson etc...... We had variety. I really feel sorry for a lot of young people who are feed Disney manufactured BS. They really don't know music.

re: GTRGOD420..... From what I understand, Rory's sweat was very acidic and ate away the finish. That guitar isn't very old. I hear that he sweat so much that his crew had to dry it off with an air-machine, and after long sets they would have to change the neck because is was so soaked. anyone else got info like that?

I think that might be a little exaggerated mistarax,his Strat was stolen and found in a ditch,his sweat did affect the guitar after a few years. 5*

In an interview with Rory, he said that once he had to remove the neck and let it dry on the clothesline for a day cos it was soaked, so using a hairdryer or anything is definitely exaggeration. The guitar got stolen in the 60's and was taking either sun or rain for some days, this made the finish get a lot more frail. He also stated about his sweating, that was supposed to be very acid and was acting like a paint stripper on the finish after years -> the guitar is 10 years old in this video.
