not bad brother..feel slow and comfortable with the song..your core voice is good. sometimes knowing the order of the lyrics is vitally important since they help you to pick up the emotions at a certain part of the song and thus keep it all in balance.

However, I do agree that LESS IS MORE. Luther was an Artiste! He understood that there was a time and place for everything. He carefully chose when and where he would use a run or just a hint of vibrato. He was a genius who understood love and sang from the heart when he told (or in this case interpreted) a story like Marvin Gaye's "If This World Were Mine". He knew just how to get the listener involved and how to invoke any emotion from his audience. He was Brilliant!
