I just finished reading this book last night, & I have to say that it's one of the best books I've read thus far. Once I started reading this, it was very difficult to put the book down. It made me laugh, it made me smile, & a couple events even made me sad. (And it certainly made me want to snuggle with my own kitty!) I've been recommending this book to EVERYBODY, because it's such a wonderful book. (Even my mother, who I've never seen sitting down reading a book, has asked to borrow it.)

Someone recommended this book to me. My cat is a 9 year old blind Tortie. Her name is Hershey and she's the happiest cat I've ever seen. Blind cats are more affectionate, so I say go adopt a cat with the worse conditions, and change their lives. Make them a happier cat. They will make you a happier person

i rec'd this book in C-mas of 2010. My life has slowed down a bit, so i just now finishd it....wow!...holy cow! It was fantastic!!!....Gwen's family is very blessed to have her in their lives. She is an exceptional person who is loyal and dedicated...with lots of love to give. I think she'd be a great friend. Keep up being the magnificient kitty mommy you are....your writings are appreciated.

I am in the process of reading this. And it's so amazing so far! I read to like page 100, and I am gonna go lay on my bed and read it right now. :) It's funny, sad, and happy . . .kind of all mixed together, and it's just awesome! If I knew Gwen Cooper, I'd get her autograph anytime! She's my favorite author ever! ♥Homer is so cute:P♥

I just finished the book and can recommend it to any animal lover. "Dewey" and "Marley and Me" are a couple other books to read.

Sorry about Vashti's passing. It is tough when any family member is lost even if it is a pet.

I am so happy that I read this book. After picking it up many times at the book store and kept thinking wow this is gonna be a sad book. I was so happy to see that it was the funniest and most loving book I have ever read. I use to read for blind kids and just knew that the powers of the blind are really something else sometimes. Thank you for sharing HOMER with the world. He is a very specail kitty and you are a very very special lady.

I just got done this book...so awesome I am so in love with Homer ...he is an awesome brave kitty...I cried and I laughed when I read this book ...cried like a baby when him and the other kitties were left alone during Sept 11th :(

God this book made me cry. Lol even though it was a completely happy book really, still just the beginning made me so sad. Anyways, too bad Gwen doesn't make videos I really would love to watch more of Homer, he really is an amazing cat with a lot of personality.
