BS. Archuleta tried to get a few new songs cleared/approved. I don't think 'the powers that be' wanted DA to sing a new song and tried hard to get clearance. It was then too late and he had to sing a song that was already cleared and that he knew since he was learning all those TOp2 songs and all the finale results songs. Obviously a case of setting up Cook to win. Like Cook getting the first ever U2 song performed on AI - U2 would normally decline.
