Awesome. I went to the 789 event in NYC and had a great time. I think free gatherings are what make this a real community. However, I also support the idea of VidCon. Online video has advanced to that stage in it's development that justifies a "professional" conference. That does NOT mean that there isn't still a calling for free gatherings. Heck, it might make them MORE popular by helping to grow the business.
