(I just figured out why that broken chord progression--especially from 1:40-2:30 or so-- is so familiar: this small town "hard rock?" band called Testament, I think, had something really similar on guitar for a song that I've long since forgotten, but that set of chords made me pick up a guitar and learn at 15, despite being a woodwind player and not knowing a thing about guitar aside from my boyfriend playing. I remember *having* to learn it, esp. where it flies between major and minor chords!)

WOW, this is my favorite song of yours so far... Cliches would be second... adding in Lauren and Justin makes this sound straight out of the best bits of the late 70s... the soulful yearning through this is powerful...

Like everyone else, I'm blown away and amazed... it's quite rare that after a long 18 years of performance and degree programs in music I find myself really grateful to have stumbled upon an emerging artist. Magnificent is such an understatement for this work.
