  • the recipe was perfect...some groceries w/ a dedicated meat department would slice beef to your liking. i used the George Foreman grill to cook the tapa and it was perfect. bilib si misis and kids...lol.

    hi Oish, here are the ingredients for the beef tapa:

    1 kilo thinly-sliced beef

    7 tablespoons sugar

    1 1/2 tablespoons salt

    1 teaspoon ground black pepper

    3 teaspoon finely minced garlic

    3 tablespoons soy sauce

    4 tablespoons vinegar

  • I really like this informative video. I do have a question. I have seen the marinade recipe without soy sauce and sugar. People would salt and pepper the beef liberally and then put inside a ziplock bag. Then they add the vinegar and garlic. Are there other versions of "tapa"?

  • @sanzoparty1066 yes, there are a lot of versions of tapa, I personally have 2, this is the sweet or traditional tapa, I also have another one which is not sweet at all. This version is what my family likes. :)
