I love Paul Lynde! When I was a kid I loved him on Hollywood squares and Bewitched reruns this was the 70's! I first learned about gay people because of him. When someone said he was gay, I asked my mom what that meant and she said that means he wants to marry a guy instead of a girl. I then declared that I didn't care who Uncle Arthur married because that should be his choice who he loves, it didn't change my love for him at all and he never even came out publically either!
Haven't seen that in so long I'd forgotten about Vaughn making a cameo. He also shows up briefly as an Italian in "If It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium."
developed a huge crush on doris day as a kid after seeing "glass bottom boat". the opening credits and song are very memorable - "...there's a lot to see in the deep blue sea."
this was when movies were great! Cameos for the audience...pretty unexpected...

This happened off and on during the mid-60s. In "How To Stuff A Wild Bikini", there's a nod to the television series "Bewitched".

He was quite serious actually...

Paul Lynde is as funny today as he was then and funnier than anyone on T.V. now!! No question about it. What a great comedic actor.

Ironically, he once said that he was told to get out of show biz because no one would ever hire him because he was too flamboyant!!

Robert Vaughn was, totally in character as "Napolian Solo" in this scene. That's why it works for "Man from U.N.C.L.E." fans like myself.
