I just went there last week (June 16, 2011) with my cousin. Pretty nice hike. I wish we went earlier though since we reached the summit at 3:30p.m. It was a bit warm but manageable. Breathtaking views up at the summit, even Mt. Diablo was visible. I'd love to go again :)

Beautiful views from up there. Fremont is still a good city, overall, but it's too crowded now. I miss the days of 150k population.

hidden valley trail, we bear right instead of left and throught the gates and boy it was a hard steep trail. and it was my 1st time since awhile. i could not make it to the summit, had to turn back and today was very warm. started 4:20

Very nice job of giving the hiker an idea of what the climb is like. I almost made the top, but stopped short a little before the trash cans. But still not bad for an old fart like me.
