This video actually gave me the confidence to buy this game and try this out; I'm not a golf fan, but before Mario Tennis, I wasn't a Tennis fan either. Now I like it.
First off you cannot expect the player to move automatically when you have the nunchuck connected. I will agree that the game is not perfect. But once you can get past the steep learning curve it is a very rewarding experience, i feel like i can put the ball pretty much wherever I want to.
Todays games have spoiled us and we expect to be pros at them since the second we pick it up.
As far as being spoiled goes, I definitely agree. While not completely relevant to the difficulty of THIS game, when I pop in older games (NES, SNES) I find myself having a much harder time that I remember having when I was a little kid.
No funny outtake scene from Paul at the end? BOOOO!

Bottom line: we -are- spoiled.
