@The170460 Emanuela Hutter is not the singer in the Obscuritones, she is the singer in the Hillybilly Moon Explosion, and she has a better voice than Imelda. Admittedly, Imelda is more attractive in terms of looks but I thought we were talking about singing voices. If you want someone who is more attractive than Imelda but not as good a singer then Kitty from Kitty in a Casket, or Shakey Sue from the Hellfreaks. But personally, I like my music because of the sound not the looks.

RE: suggoz below - I personally thought it was kind of cool that a band in the UK thousands of miles from the home of Rockabilly, with most of the people playing in the band were obviously born long after the age of Rockabilly. You don't see many women playing lead guitar in any band, let alone rockabilly. I bet you wish you could play and sing half as well as they do. I vote thumbs up.

@SeadartVSG The Stray Cats moved 1980 from the Long Island Town Of Massapeaqua to UK, hoping the ppl will appreciate thier music. In Japan rockabilly just has myth dimensions,- I guess it's not a question of geografic matters, only the desire to something familiar and reliable in these discontinuous and fast times..
