I'm sitting in what used to be the Pekuliar Pub (later became the Slaughtered Lamb) on West 4th street in the West Village (post-Dolls, circa 1981) and in walks Johansson by himself, sits down at the barstool next to me and we started kickin' it and drank many toasts to the Dolls . Very comfortable and personable dude.
johnny was a horrible friend and every thunders fan knows that..hed just use ya then leave ya even walter lure says this..but johnny had a hard life and the hardest rock n roll life i can think of so he did the best he could
about 20 different interviews with walter, kane, sylvain, johanson, dee dee ect...walter always said their friendship wasent really their because johnny burnt him too many times so it was a pure musical working partnership

For some reason, I believe you.
I only had the fortune of seeing the Dolls on Randall's island in 2006.
....and i saw Ronnie Wood from the Stones walking down West broadway, soI believe you.

I saw the "New York Dolls, with special guest stars KISS", live at the original Massey Hall in Toronto on June 15, 1974. Amazing.
