Wang Hao is my personal favorite due to his style: almost completely offensive with strong attacks, but Ma Long is quite amazing.

I wouldn't say that wang hao let ma long win this one. they are pretty close in skill level, perhaps wang hao was having an off match. each game was pretty close.

he's not letting ma long. the reason why he's cutting back on power and trying to avoid rallies is b/c that's where ma long's strength lies. so instead hao tries to to use soft placement from the center close to the table, then open up for sharp angles and a fast finish, followed by smoother, controlled loops if it doesn't end there.

notice how wang hao is not doing his normal victory cries here. this usually means he's not in his zone and was having an off match.

in my opinion wang hao didnt even try :P look at the last forehand-topspin rally. hos topspins were not played with an 100% effort.
