I have not found the answer to this question yet, so I hope you guys can help me. When you craft an item, and then salvage it, do you loose some of the crafting materials? I think more about the crafting materials that you obtain from the rare and unique items (The Fallen Tooth and The Bark)

I am aware that you loose the gold that you spent on crafting the item. Hope you guys know :)

Question: When you craft 5 axes in the end, and one gets 25 something DPS, is the poison damage calculated in those 25 DPS or is it 25 DPS plus the poison damage? Question about weapon damage:

Lets say the 'Stone knife of Flame', the weapon witch doctor uses.

It gives:

7.0 damage per second

2-5 damage with 1.40 speed.

Abilities that use % weapon damage calculate the 7dps or the 2-5 flat damage?

@PuPuHawkins Since you can transfer both all the materials needed to lvl crafting, and also all the items that you craft, it seems to me that you will only need to lvl crafting on one charachter, and just have him do all the gear you want. I do not have the beta though, so I can't say I'm 100% sure, but it seems logical enough.

BTW that axe was 1 hand and 24 dps, whereas the sword was 2hand and 17 dps, so yes its a major upgrade XD

@swatkdw ???? Like I said, the amount of that item you can craft with the current amount of raw material you have in your stash? Notice force has 455 common scrap and 190 common essence in his stash. To craft the Journeyman Large Shield, he only need 7 and 5 respectively. It means he can craft 38 of those if he wants to.

Idk if I like that you can resalvage your crafted items because if you don't get the random stat you want you can just salvage and remake it practically for free (just cost in gold). basically makes the random stat thing unimportant

@ecmpave Not entirely, you won't be able to salvage the same amount you use for the to craft it. When the raw material becomes more rarely later down the line, you would probably appreciate you can salvage it back if you don't like the result.

Thanks Force for this video. It was the best and clearest look at crafting that I have seen. Would you be willing to do a more high level one, once you acquire enough resources. Train up to level 4 and just make a bunch of items comparing stats to see how difficult it is to get some really good stuff.
