  • I love rock and roll

I'm 20 years loved to have been born in that time rock'roll

yes and what living life there was prejudice, crap

yes it was a real dance.

these days there is that love between people becoming more individualism

why is it that in those days there was no fat people?

because they danced to rock and roll

  • Mother, why did you give birth to me in the 1990's ?!

  • FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!§

  • I love this! rock'n'roll it's really greeeeaaaaaat !

  • I love their dresses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • COOL

  • pourquoi on ne danse plus comme ca maintenant??? Quel pied et quelle energie!!trop bon

  • I must have been born too late. This is GRRRRRREEEEEEEAAAAAT!

  • for me, the saddest part of modern dance is that it's rare to find partner dancing anymore. people aren't connected on the dance floor, everyone is doing their own thing (unless they're grinding). a greater percentage of the poplation danced when partner dancing was big because when you have a partner you're not selfconcious of how you look, you're too busy making sure your partner is having a good time

  • What movie is this from?

  • @misthebike i dont think its a movie its an actual taped ball

  • Crazy man crazy

  • I like it is Crazy:)

  • I'm 37 years old and is a shame that it is losing the essence of dance, young people now do not have the slightest idea of what a good dance rock and roll, greetings to all fans of rock and roll

  • toute ma jeunesse!!!!!Youuuuuuuu!!! THANK YOU!!!

  • Hi, I am a 72 yrs young Australian female and have been doing rocknroll and swing for 12 yrs' Only trouble I have is i cannot get a regular partner around my age who can keep up. and the young ones do not want to dance with an old chick, I now help instruct at my local dance studio and will keep doing it till either my legs/heart give out ..LOVE It

  • Now that was dancing!!! I don't know what it is they call it now a days, but it ain't dancing. simply rubbing your ass on a guys crotch is not dancing by any means.

  • It doesn't get any better. They will watch this 100 years from now!

  • 2oo years from now!

You and me...... We have good taste!!!

    x

  • Thank you to those of you in this age group. I'm only fifty. To the twenty yr. olds of today, take heed and learn something here.

  • This is the real stuff. so love it.

  • avez vous le titre du film?

    Merci a vous

    jjo de Cosica

  • "Jambouree" I think.

  • Let me tell you, call it what you want but that's swing changed up some. The foot work in the dancing got better. I'm a guitar plyer in a string swing band and I know swing when I hear it. It don't mean a thing if it aint got that swing, and this has it.

  • At 1:16, that girl fell down really hard! Ouch!!!

  • Super!

  • Yeeaah! Me tooo.

  • Nobody could improve on this. A nugget of 24 carat solid gold R'n'R, matched with some of the best jiving ever committed to celluloid. I could play this clip over, and over, and over...

  • theyre really tearin it up

  • That's Dancin' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Between Bill Haley and his music and the dancers, nervous Man. REAL NERVOUS!

Sounds good in '56 Mercury .God , to be a teen back then.

  • Who are the two evil drag queens sitting at the table at the very end????

  • the young girl is freda holloway as honey wynn. the other one is kay medford as grace shaw, it's from the 1957 r&r movie jamboree.

  • One thing is shure: there was no people above 6 feet tall.

  • Will someone tell me where can I download 'Rock arund the clock' movie?

  • why downloading? buy it; it's worth every buck.

  • Rip It Up from Bill Haley and his Comets via 1956....Great classic!

  • yeah that was freakin AWESOME !! .. clasic stuff

  • great dance :D

  • i bet it would be fun to actually get together and cut a rug like that

  • Man, who is that crazy cat 1:35-1:55?! Talk about flying feet!!

  • Nostalgie

  • just as I remember it and the first showing of

rock around the clock we were all dancing in the cinema Isles. Those were great days we never got bored there were always friends cafes and dance halls and of course cinema .

  • yyyyyeeeeaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Sublime!

  • Wow!

    Rock

  • I'm not a professional dancer, but I dance rock and roll like that, since was a child.

Great Bill Haley. Youtube search DISCO 45 and VIVA EL ROCK AND ROLL (Manuel Vargas) and you will see an honoring from Chile to the best music of all times.

  • Wow, I didn't know that everyone in the 50s was a professional dancer

  • Yep - us 50s people were all pretty good movers. And no drugs or narcotics in those days - the music alone was all we needed.

  • I was being sarcastic - this video is unrealistic because these people are professional dancers your average person in the 50s didnt dance like that - its romanticised.

  • A lot of people could dance like that my brother in law could and he wasn't a professional dancer.

  • Maybe, but there was always at least one couple in every crowd that could dance like that - and the rest of us tried!! Plus - the girls often "fast danced" togther, because most of the boys either didn't care that much, or didn't want to try dancing like that. (And no, no one thought we were gay either. In fact, probably very few probably even knew what that meant. Such innocence! LOL)

  • To indigoBlu736.

Come to Ingleburn RSL on Monday night s if you live in Sydney and in 8 weeks you could be on your way . The dancers you saw probably learnt all that in 12months Rock and roll moves are all made with hand signals. Give the signal and the girl knows what to do next, Go and learn somewhere and then report back here You will love it.

  • I love the way they kept in the chick stacking it - I guess they did it in one take.

  • Man now that is some good dancing!!

  • I remember this from my 10 year old days in England (1955).There aint nothing to touch the music of that era,

  • love this stuff..

  • trev74444 great one

  • love it. they were into this totally.

  • BILL HALEY AND HIS COMETS - Live in Lima - Rare and hard to find radio broadcast from 1961 - One hour from master tape. Contact me for more info

  • You think you have something rare, only in Audio but what about Bill Haley choosing his Favorite 12 records..........Some suprises in this.....

But cannot remember them at present as I have it recorded on an old Reel to Reel tape recorder..

Would guess this must have been 1962...the forever teddyboy

  • If you watch at about 1.16 a blonde girl accidentally falls, unless I'm mistaken her partner is Nigel Lawrence

  • my great grandparents still dance like that. Its amazing to watch and it always makes me smile!

  • Hi Mystie, I am 72 and still rock n roll.three times a week. and help instruct. Usually take the ones with two left feet and after a couple of months have them up and running. makes me feel good to see them on the dance floor.
