I'm born in the wrong time, damn i would like too see many bands from the 80's. at these times metallica kicked ass, they still do but they're not the same, sad but true. i think jason is way underrated, and kirk is good, lars ulrich isn't good nowadays, after he stopped training, he can't play like in the 80's no more. and james, what would metallica be without him?! maybe he's voice isn't that aggressive nowadays but we still love him! james is underrated as a guitarist...

Till 1993 it went good, but after that till Load his voice got screwed up (I think that maybe that's one of the reasons why they did the "easy" Load)
