I adore Luke. He's not judging but he understands how much this will hurt Lucky. So going against his better judgment of keeping out of other folk's business he tells Liz to tell Lucky herself, before he finds out from someone else.

Damned if that isn't the actions of a good father. TIIC can kiss my ass about Luke being a bad dad. I remember the old days, I remember how much time he spent with Lucky and how excited he was when Lulu was born. Luke loves his kids and does right by them.
