No, the sounds are not coming from the QY70. He's just using at as a sequencer over midi to trigger all the patterns and melodies etc.

mmh not so sure... there's a jack in the output of the QY-70. And it's a dj mixer no synths or drum machines in the video. But you're right there's a midi cable plugged I imagine it's not here for nothing.
